Description
Hello! I’m Christof – originally from Germany. After many years in Paris, I’ve started a new chapter in a peaceful Portuguese village. I’m gradually restoring a traditional “Quinta” (wine farmhouse) to become my home – a space for creativity, nature, and meaningful human connection.
I’d love to host kind, curious people who enjoy helping with simple, shared tasks and exchanging experiences in a relaxed and friendly setting.
How you might help:
- Light garden work (mowing, planting, weeding, watering, composting – no advanced skills needed!)
- Helping to tidy and organize outdoor spaces
- Cleaning outdoor furniture or spaces
- Organizing storage areas or tools
- Assisting with small creative projects (e.g., signs, decorations)
- Sharing ideas for decoration, cooking, or small creative projects
- Helping prepare meals or doing dishes
- Taking part in day-to-day routines and cultural exchange
it’s about enjoying shared activities, learning together, and contributing in a laid-back environment.
What I offer:
- A peaceful location close to Alcobaça and Nazaré (10–25 minutes away)
- A small camper van for your accommodation (with bedding provided). You can also add your camper or tent.
- One shared meal per day and a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Plenty of free time to explore, rest, or pursue your own projects

Staying here means being part of a personal and evolving life project in rural Portugal. You’ll experience the slower rhythm of village life, surrounded by nature, and have the chance to learn about traditional Portuguese culture through daily life, food, and local surroundings. We can share languages – I speak German, French, English, and some Portuguese – and I’m always happy to exchange ideas about sustainability, creativity, and simple living. Whether it's gardening, cooking together, or reflecting over a cup of coffee, I hope this place offers a chance to connect, share perspectives, and learn from one another in a relaxed, friendly way.
Beyond practical skills, we’ll also share meals, stories, and perspectives – and hopefully inspire each other along the way..Projects involving children

Space for parking camper vans
There is a camping spot with a small camper van within a 120m² patio, enclosed by three buildings, offering a cozy and sheltered space. Alternatively, there’s another spot about 50 meters away from the buildings, more secluded and surrounded by nature – but it’s only accessible with a camper that can handle rough terrain.
Can possibly accept pets
Pets are very welcome – as long as they get along well with my cats 😉
