Description
We started permaculture project 3 years ago in Shinanomachi. It is a beautiful area with mountains and lake. We have vegetable farm and started planting trees. We are starting to prepare for food forest. Also we do some constructions with natural materials with traditional techniques. We are 5, Julian (Spanish) and Yoko (Japanese) with Daisuke (10 years old), Kazuki (8 years old) and Nae(our dog). The terrain is big and we still have a lot to go for the project. Come help us and share the permaculture process.

We have a house with kitchen and shower that workers can share. Normally we eat lunch together, but for breakfast and dinner workers will make their own food in their house. We provide basic food for cooking.
What else ...
We are near Iizuna, Kurohime, Myoko mountains. You have very nice trekking trucks. Also not far from Nojiri lake where you can swim and a nice river that can go walking. We have bus stop near by but not much operated.. Kurohime station is the nearest which takes an hour by walking. When possible we can drive you til the station. From Kurohime station, you can go to Nagano city where Zenkoji temple, Obuse and Suzaka city are very nice to visit as well. You can also go to Niigata, Myoko or to the sea (Naoetsu). Also we are not far from Togakushi shrine.

C’était notre première expérience de workaway (nous avions déjà fait du volontariat, mais l’expérience est vraiment différente) et notre première visite au Japon. Et quelle… read more
