Description
Our next project: learning sustainable practices in the Southeast of Brazil
We are planning to travel to Brazil in August 2026 and are looking for a project in the São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro or Minas Gerais area — agroforestry, permaculture, organic gardening or eco-construction.
We are new to these specific techniques, but we learn quickly and enjoy physical, hands-on work. We are not afraid of repetitive tasks or simple living conditions.
During a Workaway stay in Japan (2024), we took part in a small permaculture project (mulching, soil protection, planting and harvesting) in Shinano, and in a conservation project in Tottori focused on protecting the Japanese giant salamander, an endangered species. These experiences deepened our interest in sustainable farming and biodiversity protection.
What we bring: Jean-Luc teaches French and works daily with digital tools (content creation, educational technology, web tools) — he can help with French language exchange or digital/communication tasks. Aurélie dances and brings creativity and energy to any project.
We speak French and English, and we are learning Portuguese.
Our main goal is to learn from your project and contribute as fully as we can.

Et quelle… read more
