Description

Hi! I'm an Italian guy with a lot of interests (read more in the skills section) and i always liked to travel and see all the beauty that our world has to offer. I'm now about to finish a one-year contract as researcher and i want to change field because i would like to do a more concrete and manual job, which makes me feel more in contact with nature.

I'm interested in plants and all their products, not only from a naturalistic and ecological prospective, but also as raw materials from which produce herbal teas, liquors or food in general. I would really like to do some experience in growing food forests and vegetable gardens, but also learn how to build, maintain and design all the different component to realize a sustainable, self-sufficient and cozy house.

I also really like Japan and i would like to visit the country, but i believe that to really visit a place, you have to live it, integrate with local habits and uses and fully experience the authentic daily life.

I look forward to meet new people and share life experience and stories, but i also look forward to work and learn new things while helping people to realize their project and ideas.

INSTRUCTION:
I have two university degrees, one bachelor degree in Agronomical and Food Sciences and Technologies (specialized in brewing technologies), and one master degree in Global Change Ecology (Environmental Biology). I also took an online course about Python, SQL and Tableau, so i have some knowledge about programming, data analyses and data visualization. I'm currently working with with remote sensing, using GIS (Geographic Information System) and satellite images to make environmental studies.

LANGUAGES:
My native language is Italian, but i also speak English fluently, Spanish (medium level) and i have some basics of Japanese.

TEACHING EXPERIENCES:
I have approximately 5 years of experience as parkour teacher for all ages (kids, adolescents and adults) and i was a tutor in a GIS course at the University of Trieste. I know the best method to teach and how to empathize with people without experience in doing something.

MUSIC:
I've been playing drums since i was a child and i started play the hang/handpan since 2020. I would like to study piano and singing.

SPORTS:
I played basketball for 10 years when i was a child and then, in 2013, i started to do parkour and some boxe/kick-boxe. In 2023 i practiced Wing Chun (kung fu) for one year and a half, and i recently started to do boulder (indoor climbing).


OTHER HOBBIES:

SURVIVAL - In 2024 i started to take some survival courses, form basic to advanced level (the last being October 2025). These courses are fascinating, as they make you really feel part of nature and make you realize how life can be simple, reducing your needs to the essential ones.

COOKING - I really enjoy cooking and i always try to experiment new things or learn new ideas from other people. I started cooking long time ago and the dish i do best is pasta (of course). I'm not a vegetarian, but i don't eat meat very often for ecological and moral reasons, even though i like it.

STORY TELLING - In 2024 i started studying how to write a captivating story, considering all their different components and balances. I also took a three months course of manga story telling.

DRAWING - I always liked to draw and sometimes i do it to relax or as a gift for my friends or family. I also took a three months course about manga drawing.
