Description
We are a couple, who are living in our dream eco-house next to the Blue Mountains National Park. We have two alpacas, some chickens, and two cats that share the 2 acres we live on. We've been hosting helpers since 2015.
Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest.
Please mention the word Alpaca in your first message to us, and please address our specific requirements (rather than sending us a generic message) otherwise we will think that you haven't read our profile properly.

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you`re welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, feed the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises!
Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat.

We need ENERGETIC help in the garden, mainly splitting firewood and moving big rocks with wheelbarrows to help us building garden beds. There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES.
We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because there are weeds that have invaded the rare and endangered hanging-swamp on our land.
We welcome non-smokers for 4 hours help a day (8 am - 12 pm) in exchange for a beautiful room and food. In the afternoon, you can go bushwalking, visit neighbouring towns, or relax in front of the fire.
We might also need help in the house, mopping floors, and other cleaning duties.
We generally host helpers from Sunday to Friday (5 nights), because it fits our schedules.Languages spoken
