Description
Hello everyone,
we are a young Family (31, 29, 5 & 2) originated from Germany together with three lovely horses and Goats as well as three cats and a dog :).
We moved to Blatuša end of 2021, build ourselves a Yurt home in the following month and Since August 2022 we bought a farm with a beautiful old wood house, barns and heaps of land.
In Blatuša there is an Eco Village - We see ourselves as part of it ;) but actually it is more an openminded, friendly and ecological tendency (Not so strickt) neighbourhood. So there are quite some projects going on and people to meet around.
Since many years we are living in touch with nature, Yoga and Spirituality. We are still on our path and sometimes want to extent our practice but the family life and building up our home takes a lot from us - but love is the key. So we learn to accept that this is what is currently needed to be Loved.
By building up a harmonic natural place that we like to share with others, there are many works around the house, some natural building Projects, renovating barns as well as building up a fruit forest Garden and tidy Up everywhere.
Regarding the horses we attempt to keep and work as natural and horse friendly as possible and the focus lies apon good connection, trust and understanding between each other.
We are open and like to give rituals, meditation, singing circles, Yoga and privacy space.
We are not dogmatic and not in current practise in any way. But at the Moment we are pretty bussy with Renovations and our two children :)
We are having a vegetarian Diat.
As we are a small family we would love to host Families, Couples and other groups of people or interested singles that are willing to Help but are also fine to be some time on their own as we need also some family time per day. If possible WE are hosting more people in same time so you might get to known other workaway volunteering people while you are Here too.
We like to find individual recipes for a good time together with you.
If all this sounds to great to be true, be warned we have a lot to build and renovate before we are in Paradies. ;)
We have just started here :) But still there is beautiful Nature surrounding us and we have a beautiful View Here. And luckily a beautiful Lake closeby.

We are Open to get to known more Families with children in the age of ours or around, that might Like to stay for short or If it fids Long Term Here.
The Idea of creating a little neighbourhood around us that benefits each other and espacially for our children to have a friend to Play and grow Up with. So Families with small children - Welcome.
And in General for everyone: let's have a great time together :)

For now we have compost toilet and Just a simple more outdoorsy like shower with wood boiler. And as we life Close to the horses insects could be around.

Samuel and julia both have knowledge in different fields, and quite some of life experiences. He spend quite a lot of time in Bulgaria and knows the balkan culture and the language, also he made a lot of experiences with gardening, also true nursery, permaculture and edible and healing plants & herbs. Building Yurts, Natural building, Dreaming, Fasting, Photography, Spirituality and Meditation are other topics he will be happy to share with you his experience or knowleadge. Even so he in the moment is more father and constructor, in his heart he Always went the Yogis path.
Julia is experienced in Natural birthing, horses and their handling and Yoga. All in all the place where we live is a open space to discover yourself and to live an happy and independent life. We try to integrate a valuable life with the rural simplicity of living on the countryside. It is important to for us to stay spiritually connected to the nature and find a way to unfold our gifts to share them with the world. We wish people to come and exchange their talents and interests with us so that we can have more energy all together. A sense of value for doing the best possible and taking a look outside the box of thinking would be appropriate if you would like to come and stay with us.
Update: at the latest time we are pretty much bussy with our children And Renovations so we Just integrate little Elements of Yoga and Hobbies in our daily Life, but never the less our interest is about These topics and we are looking Forward to get Things Like the old Woodhouse finished soo we can spend at least a Bit more time in our Hobbies :)

Accommodation
The accomodation we can provide for now is in a simple tent or simple caravan.
As our Family Routine is going with the flow of children needs, it can happen that some meals won't be shared, theirfore we like to create more infrastructure, kitchens or cooking nishes so everybody can enjoy privathy as well as community.
We use many things out of our garden Like vegetables or fruits - mainly in Summer and autumn. But we are far away from selfsustainable.
What else ...
In your free time you can visit the beautiful white Kaolin Clay Lake (500 m through the forest, or 1 km on the street)
also there is closeby Ekoselo (ecovillage 15 minutes by bike) with some interesting natural buildings such like gedoatic dome and Clay houses or get to known some alternative people that settled in this village.
We know some nice spots in the area that we like to share with people that stay longer than a week.
Or if you like to do walks in nature and the forests, there is are endless opportunities for doing this, also with our horses if you like.
There is a monumental crazy vacant big building on the closeby woody mountains on which it is possible to go as a little excursion. That is reachable by walk or car in 8 km distance.
The next village town (Virginmost/Gvozd) is 8 km from our housebigger and there is another small villigetown Topusko (9km) spa center with thermal water bath, shops, coffe bars and restaurants. You could also just hang out with our cats, read a book or enhance your guitar play. Many opportunities in a simple live. :)

She and her Friends are very nice and it was a plessure to have them around.
They worked in the Heat on our garden field! And where facing all activities I asked them for.

We helped with the insulation of their farmhouse and made real progress building the roof of their barn.
We ate 3 wonderfull vegeterian meals each day, made from fresh products, that were cooked with the help of everyone.
