Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
In exchange you may ride horses as much as you want to! We will also have days when we all will go camping with the horses and we also like to take the horses to different parks and forests to experience different scenery and trail systems. You will be treated well and as if ou are part of our family.
One will have the opportunity to build equine relationships and enhance horsemanship and training skills.
We have many friends and there will be plenty of opportunity for entertaining, going for dinners, going to the lakes, riding trips, campfires, and other various outings. -

Help
We are looking for Workawayers that are highly motivated, and confident with horses to spend time with our horses. We often go on day or weekend trips with the horses in the many beautiful forests and parks around here. Part of going on trips with the horses includes catching and loading horses, packing the horse equipment into the horse trailer and loading up the camper for the trip. (Our camper has 6 beds and air conditioning!!).
Some days we will also do yard maintenance:(caring for the garden, picking berries, lawn trimming, planting, checking fences.)
stable maintenance: (cleaning grooming supplies, sweeping, stalls-if horses were brought in from pasture, washing pails tack etc).
Our home is very clean to begin with, so the housework is just keeping the home clean and tidy!
This will be an awesome opportunity for someone who loves horses, the outdoors, meeting new people, and living in a comfortable setting.
Preference will be given for applicants who plan longer stays of 6 weeks or more -
