Description
Hi! I'm Stefan. My wife Julia and I traveled the world for 7 years until we found this charming old villa overlooking the sea in Argeles-Sur-Mer and started a family. Baby Alicia was born in July 2024. It is very quiet here. We are surrounded by several hectars of forest and have only few neighbours. Nonetheless, it's only 10 minutes (by car) to the next town and the beach.
We lead a very peaceful life, enjoy nature, do yoga, go swimming and do all sorts of water sports. We enjoy organic quality food. We eat mostly vegetarian.
We have lovely weather at the moment (mid April). At our pool terrace it's always much warmer than down at the beach and we are protected from the wind. This means, you get to fully enjoy the pool, read a book in the sun, etc. There are also several hiking paths accessible directly from our house.

We are currently looking for someone who is available immediately for 2-3 weeks, likes working outside in the garden and has some basic carpentry experience. We need some shelves built, plants attached to wall hooks, some branches cut and greenery transported and we also have some painting tasks.

We are very interested in improving our French.
Accommodation
We have 3 main bedrooms inside the house plus one room with a sofa-bed. We provide enough food. We eat mostly vegetarian, but also like fish. We usually share at least one meal together per day and take turns when it comes to cooking.
The town is 10 min away from our house but we have bought a scooter (125cc) which everyone can use who knows how to drive it and has the necessary driving license.
What else ...
For your time off, you have plenty of options. You can decide to stay home, relax at the pool, enjoy the view, listen to the birds, read a book .... or you can go down into the town mingle with the locals, lay at one of the several beaches, do watersports, go cycling, horseriding or do some sightseeing in and around Perpignan.
Currently, there is no public transport from the house to the town yet and it is a 30 minutes walk. We can take you sometimes.
