    Description

The farm is a non-profitable organic farm with a vegetable garden where we try to develop a permaculture. A variety of vegetables and fruits grow in greenhouses and the open field. There are no animals on the farm, except for a very friendly cat and some hardworking honey bees.
I have been hosting volunteers for over 20 years and have always appreciated the help and company.

Volunteers help on the farm and participate in all activities with me. I try to have between two and five workawayers at the same time and they usually stay for two to four weeks.

I don’t host volunteers in the winter months as there is not as much work to do.

If you have an interest in organic vegetables and want to enjoy simple farm life in Sweden, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Volunteers will learn about the organic cultivation of vegetables and ornamental plants. You can also learn about Swedish culture and meet many people here.
There are bicycles that you can use and nice surroundings to discover. The closest city is Lund and there is a big lake with a beach 15 km from here.

  • Help

    Help

Depending on the season, there is plenty of help in the garden with seeding, planting and harvesting.
There is also always a building project going on where you can try out new skills.
Volunteers usually do 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with 2 continuous days off.
The tasks can sometimes be tiring but no special skills are needed. Everyone can contribute with help that fits their abilities.
You should bring working clothes and boots but there are also some things here that you can borrow.

Due to Swedish labor laws, volunteers are not permitted to help prepare and sell the product grown here at the weekly farmers market in Lund. All tasks related to the business is handled by ourselves

    What else ...

Food is provided and volunteers usually cook and eat together. Sometimes I also cook for them. Depending on who is here we usually cook vegetarian with our own vegetables and we can easily adapt if you have any dietary requirements.

If you would like to visit Copenhagen or Malmö on a free day, I will happily transport you to the bus stop and pick you up when you come back.
Hope to see you at the farm soon!
