Hello! My name is Yumi.
I'm from Japan, 28 years old.

I love to know new things!!
I'm tough and powerful. I'll do my best even if it's first time for me, I will try everything with a lot of fun.

Yumi has been with me on the farm for three weeks. She is very social, polite and friendly. She has done all kind of work on the farm from household to weeding, planting and reparing the greenhouse. She is always enthusiastic about the work and She always did her best. I recommend her the very best!

If we could give Yumi more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. She is, without any doubt, the best Workawayer we have ever hosted. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person.
Yumi is incredibly hardworking. She never avoids work, never watches the clock, and we often had to remind her - more than once - that it was time to stop working. … read more Whatever she does, she puts her whole heart into it and always tries to do it as well as possible.
During her stay, she did an amazing amount of work in our garden, helped with painting projects, and was always ready to help around the house with whatever was needed. No task was ever too difficult or too boring for her.
She has wonderful initiative. Whenever we started doing something, she was immediately ready to help. She was always asking, “Can I help?” or “What can I do next?” She is attentive, careful, and very thorough, putting genuine care into every task. She learns incredibly quickly - after seeing something just once, she already remembered how to do it correctly.
Yumi is also very responsible. During her stay she made only one small mistake, and she did everything she could to fix it. That says a lot about her character.
She treated our home with genuine respect, as if it were her own. She always cleaned up after herself, kept all shared spaces spotless, and naturally put everything back where it belonged. She was constantly thinking about how to make life easier for us without being asked.
She is one of the kindest and most positive people we have ever met. Always smiling, full of warmth, gratitude, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor, she brought such lovely energy into our home. Communication with her was effortless - if she didn’t understand something, she asked, and she was always honest and open.
She is also very flexible and understands that life in the countryside doesn’t always go according to plan. Changes caused by the weather or other unexpected situations never bothered her.
Yumi was also wonderful company. We loved our walks together, our long conversations, and even our little boat trips. She shared so many interesting things about Japan while showing genuine curiosity about Sweden, our culture, and our way of life. She asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and was truly interested in learning.
Yumi is a wonderful person with a huge heart. Hosting her was an absolute joy, and we already miss her. We recommend her with all our hearts to any future host. Anyone who has the opportunity to host Yumi should consider themselves incredibly lucky.
