Hi ! My name is Emilie and I plan on going to Sweden in May and June. I have already been there during my studies (in the north) and loved the country so much I want to go back to explore it more. During my first experience, I met others international students and loved exchanging about our cultures and travelling together. I have an academic background in computer science and environmental science and would like to learn more about nature and how to respect it. I love hiking, exploring new places, meeting new people and learning from them !

I can speak french (my native language), english quite well, a little bit of spanish and I am currently learning italian (an italian friend is helping me and she says I am making good progress, I hope she is not lying :) ), I would be happy to teach you french if you want. I help around the house with cleaning and cooking as I lived by myself for a few years now. I am also very happy to take care of animals (especially dogs since I grew up with one) and children since I already did babysitting. With my studies, I learned to code and I would be happy to help you with your computer. I would also be very happy to learn some new skills such as gardening or construction !

I enjoy peaceful time by myself as I read a lot and recently learned how to crochet, however I also like to engage in activities with others such as sports. I love biking, running and basketball.

I stayed two weeks at this place and had an amazing time. I was there at the same time as two others volunteers and of course John and Thomas who are staying there full time. The two weeks I stayed at Lola and Vincent's house were awesome ! I helped Lola with gardening and learned a lot about plants and different ways to eat them (we did dandelion jelly !)
