  • Description

Hi, my name is Heike. I live here on my farmyard with my old dog Anni, my cat Katerle and a longterm workawayer Johann.

My farm is located in a nature reserve "Gieselau-valley" in Dithmarschen / Schlewig- Holstein. This is in the north of Germany - next to the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal - surrounded by beautiful nature and not far away from the North Sea (~20 minutes with the car).
And if you saw enough from the countryside, Hamburg is just 90 km away and reachable by public transportation.

The exchange we offer is very diverse, because we always have different projects running.
For example: garding in a greenhouse or just outside in the garden, making firewood, working on the circus wagon, completion of a mini "roof-only house", painting and repairing various things around and inside the house, making an outside bathing place, looking for the dog an cat, housesitting in the winter and many more...
.... be creative ... maybe creating mosaics, building beautiful outside places, cooking tasty meals...

You have the opportunity to learn to juggle, spit fire... dance on the slackline ... In your free time you can explore different places, exploring the nature, swimming in the north sea or just relaxing with a book in the garden.

We are exited to meet nice people from all over the world and hopefully make some new friends! :)

    See you soon!
