Dirk spent six weeks with us in March and April 2024. We had a really great time together: uncomplicated, enjoyable and enhancing for both sides.

… read more came to optimising the soil in our greenhouse. His advice was always very kind, substantiated and convincing. We fully appreciated it!
The main project Dirk helped on was window painting. He showed a high level of patience and accuracy. Great attitude! Besides he painted walls and a radiator, stacked firewood and looked after our cats when we were away for a couple of days.
During the course of time, we got to know each other well. We talked about many things which included personal matters. We also had fun playing card games, going for a walk and socialising with friends.
To us the win-win Workaway deal has turned into something even more valuable: friendship.

I had the pleasure of spending six weeks with Nicole, Rainer and Henri in Bosjön. The last 10 km were gravel road and were for my little car quite the challenge. But I immediately knew that the location was a very special one. In the middle of Sweden's wild nature, it was thé best place to reflect and listen to my inner voice.

… read more were very hospitable and I felt at home quite fast. Due to different schedules I ate breakfast and lunch by myself, but dinner was enjoyed together. The meals served were really good!
I lived in my own apartment with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and livingroom! It was more than I expected.
The work was really unhurried. I was part of the maintenance-team with Rainer and was mostly painting windows.
By far the best part of the stay, was that they made me feel at home. We talked about many things, in depth too, and we shared insights and live-experiences, which made the stay very valuable for me. I also had the luck of meeting several friends of them, all of them really nice people. It is hard for me to put the feeling in words I had when I left Bosjön. I kind of fell in love with the place. If you have any chance to visit this place, just do it! I enjoyed every moment of the stay. Thank you Nicole, Rainer and Henri!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We had the most amazing time with Nicole, Rainer and Henri! They were my first ever workaway place and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better first experience! We had a cozy apartment to stay in and the food in the evening was the best! Together we made the most perfect blueberry cake and in return I learned them a typical Belgian dish called

I could leave Bosjön if I wanted to by bus but I decided to stay there for the whole month since there was much to do that I liked, for example: fishing, kanoën, hiking, taking a nap in the hammock, doing photography, drawing and being creative,… many things to do!
Me and Goofy already miss this place and hopefully we we will meet again someday!

It was a great joy having Emmy and her dog Goofy at our place.
Emmy is extremely reliable and always willing to help. She did some creative work for us that impressed us a lot! But even the more "boring" jobs were completed perfectly. What a professional attitude!
