    Description

Hey! My name is Francis. I live together with my wife and our small child Herna and I hope you are interested in joining our small family for a couple of weeks/months.

I am the founder of a registered charity organisation based in Entebbe, Uganda. We want to provide education to the children whose parents cannot pay the school fees for the local schools because EduCare, we see education as a right for every child.

Currently we are running 3 programs:
    1. We are always looking for Godparents for our older children who cannot pay the school fees for the primary schools.
    2. We just started a Nursery School to provide the first steps of education for the ones who cannot pay the fees for profit-driven Kindergartens. We also use our facilities to help give tasks to older children who are waiting to got back to school.
    3. We also started a women empowerment program. We provide skilling-education and basic English lessons.

Every Saturday we also invite the children to games on a fiel of the village.

From time to time we want to offer an ever-expanding program for all those interested in learning in our town.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

A volunteer will be staying in my house. A single room will be given to one volunteer or a couple. The other bed is in a separated place in our living room, which is obviously not used by any other person during nighttime.

You should know that the bathrooms here are different than in other countries. We have a SQUAT TOILET and a BUCKET SHOWER but after some days you will be used to it.

Unfortunately we cannot give you a free stay and have to charge you $5 a day for accommodation plus 3 meals a day.

    Can host digital nomads

I would like to host nomads because I myself I would like to find someone who can help me to market our social media platforms and I myself I would like to work from home through online. I need someone who is good at marketing and knows internet connections. I have a free space at school where you can work during your free time online and getting data for internet connections. It's easy to get a sim card, and you load the internet bundles on it.
