    About our place
Our place is a small home in the forest. We bought the place in 2012 and lived there for 5 years before having to give up and move away beacause of difficult circumstances . This year, 2021, is a big deal for us, because this spring we are finally moving back to Lunnaberg to build a tiny house to live in permanently!

There is both chaos and beauty at our place. Chaos coming from a bit of a break down a few of years ago, that left Lunnaberg in a rather broken down state of being. The beauty comes from the wonderful place, the beautiful old trees, the peaceful energy and the feeling of a place full of life and potential. There is an old timber frame cottage from 1821 that has seen its better days. Our intention is to return to Lunnaberg and rebuilding the place into a new home for us. All the time in accordance with nature and the spirit of the place. There is a start of a food forest and vegetable garden, which will expand in the future.

    Accomodation
The accomodation is camping style. It will be either in tents or in a simple hut. There is a caravan which we all share, as a place to cook and hang out, and to keep warm if the wheather is bad. On the farm there is electricity, cold water and an outdoor compost toilet. There is no shower. But you can heat up water and wash yourself in the garden. There is also a swiming lake 10 minutes walk away.If we get around to it we can make a garden shower together! There is wifi, how ever not unlimited. We are aiming for a group of 5 volonteers. You will have access to a washing machine to do your laundry.

Most of the cooking is done outdoors over the fire and rocket stove. We all help and take turns doing the cooking. We will eat a joined meal during the day. In the evening we might want to spend some alone time with our family. On those nights you tend to your own cooking together with the other volonters (we provide food of course). Lunnaberg is a vegan place (although of course you are welcome what ever you eat :) ).

    The work
Our mail goals this year is to build our tiny house! We are in the middle of the planning and material gathering process now (written i January) and at the beginning of June we will start the buildning!
We aim at having about 5 volonteers at a time, and we welcome you who think it would be fun to learn about building and eco construction. The work will be quite intense and hard, but at the same time we think it is important to have fun, both while working, and to take breaks to see the surroundings or just hang out and relax.

The house will be built in ecological materials, on a fairly tight budget with a mix of new and second hand materials. We will start the building in June.

There is also the posibility to be creative, and if we and you have the energy for it we might build an outdoor fire-heated bathtub, a garden shower, or continue creating our outdoor kitchen. We are very happy for you to bring new ideas into the place! We are beginners at what we do, learning as we go along. We are happy to share with you what we know, and keep learning together.
We ask that you work approximately 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.

    About us
We are a family of two adults, two children (aged 9 and 5), one dog and one cat. We are kind and happy people. We are artists in the areas of music, photography, poetry and dancing. We love nature and gardening and natural buildning.
We really enjoy meeting people from around the world, and sharing our space and life for a short time. Every volonteer that has spent time at our place has left an impression and made our world a little bit wider. We are amazed and so grateful at how cool and magical it can be to connect in this way. And of course, getting hands on help with projects is fantastic. We always try to make the work inspirational and learning for the volonteers.

    The area around our place
Close to our place, there are lovely forests and a swimming lake.
