I spent four weeks with this family. During my stay, I also got to meet grandparents, friends, and other family members. I was always included, and Maire and Declan often took me to Ennis. We even spent a week in Liscannor - a fantastic experience! My tasks mainly consisted of housework and spending time with the girls. Florence (1) was learning

Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, for which I am grateful to this family. I hope to see them again one day and can recommend it to anyone who would like to explore the west coast of Ireland and loves children!

I had a lovely two weeks with the family, and it was everything I could have wished for. They welcomed me with open arms, and I immediately felt at home. The whole family is super supportive and caring. They are always happy to help you with your travels or give you a ride to town. The bus only goes twice a day, but the bus stop is right outside

I was also blessed to meet the grandparents and was even trusted to spend a night in Limerick with them — just amazing.
My tasks were mostly cooking (which I loved) and cleaning, but also spending time with the kids — none of it really felt like work. I was just happy to help the family out a bit.
All in all, it was an amazing Workaway stay, and I would recommend it to everyone.Left by host for Workawayer (Annika)
Annika stayed with us for just over two weeks. Annika blended into our home effortlessly and she was a joy to have in our home. Annika has amazing cooking & baking skills which we benefitted from hugely, she cooked us many delicious healthy meals & took into consideration that I am a vegetarian. Annika completed many cleaning & tidying tasks & was

She was a pleasure to have in our home, she was very mature & independent for her age.
Would highly recommend her to any other family out there.

I had a lovely stay with Maire, Declan, Marianne and Florence. My room was spacious and very comfortable, as was the rest of the house. The position of the house is amazing: it’s close to Ennis, but still in a pretty rural area without being isolated.
I really appreciated the clarity with which the tasks were given to me, I think it’s so helpful
… read more to receive straightforward communication. The tasks were pretty simple and manageable and I had a lot of time on my own to organize my work. Maire and Declan are two down to earth and kind people who have been so generous to me, picking me up and driving me to the station and truly making me feel at home. They’ve been sweet and flexible and encouraged me to have a good time. The rest of their family has been so welcoming as well, especially Rosaleen ans Kathleen, who has let me stay at her place for the weekend. It was lovely to get to know their family and spend time with them. I got to see my absolute favourite places in Ireland while staying with them : Clare is a gorgeous county and they’re close to so many natural attractions! The location is ideal for anyone who wants to explore the atlantic coast. I will miss them, and I would truly love to come back one day. Thank you all for everything!!🩵Chat with Workawayers who've visited this host

I spent almost one month with this beautiful family, and I can honestly say I’ve never met people as kind and loving as they are.
Maire and Declan are incredibly gentle and welcoming; they made me feel at home from the very beginning. They shared everything with me and treated me like a part of the family. They were always patient whenever I had

Marianne (3 years old) is full of energy, and spending time with her was so much fun. Florence (1 year old) has the sweetest smile and laugh that melted my heart every time. I had the honor of being there when she took her first steps and watching her learn to walk and run everywhere—it was such a special experience!
During my stay, I also met their extended family, including grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Every one of them was so kind and lovely that I was genuinely amazed. One little cousin even tried to teach me traditional Irish dancing—it’s much harder than I thought, hahaha!
The family was always generous and thoughtful, often giving me lifts to the city center or taking me along on their outings.
As for the work, my main tasks included cleaning in the mornings and spending time with Marianne in the evenings.
In conclusion, nothing better could have happened to me. I truly fell in love with Ireland and this wonderful family.
I really hope to come back and see you all again. I already miss you!
