    Description

Hello! We’re a family of four who have recently moved from Spain to Playa Venao, Panama.

I’m from the UK, and my husband is from Peru. Our daughters are 8 and 13 years old and attend a local school. Life is busy as we both run our own businesses, so we’re looking for someone who can help us keep things running smoothly.

    The role includes:

    - Driving (school runs and local errands), so a valid driver’s license and confidence behind the wheel are essential.
    - Helping care for the girls and preparing in fun activities or creative projects.
    - Daily homework help
    - Cooking family meals and keeping the house clean and organized.

We’re offering a private ensuite room with a separate entrance, double bed, and internet.

Stays are up to 3 weeks maximum.

If you enjoy family life, love kids, and are confident in the kitchen, we’d be excited to welcome you into our home here in beautiful Playa Venao!

My husband and I typically work from home.

    We are looking for help Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and 2pm - 6pm .

Typical tasks would include picking up our girls from school (driving is necessary), preparing dinner (we eat meat, plenty of vegetables, and salads), helping keep the house tidy, assisting with homework, and spending time doing fun and creative activities with our daughters.

Cooking is a big part of this role, so it's important that you feel confident preparing family meals.

You’ll have your own private ensuite room, separate from the main house. The room has a double bed, large cupboard, ceiling fan, and air conditioning for comfort.

Our family home is a large two-bedroom house where the girls share a room. It has a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with all modern conveniences. Outside, there’s a good-sized patio with low tables, chairs, and a dining table—perfect for relaxing, eating, working or doing yoga.

We’re just 2 minutes from one of the best surf beaches in Panama, making it an ideal spot to enjoy Playa Venao’s laid-back lifestyle.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We can host 1 person at a time and we can’t host pets. Please don't contact us if you are more than 1, there is no way we can accommodate more. Thank you :)

To get here from Panama City you can get a shuttle for $60.

Playa Venao is a small surf town on Panama’s Pacific coast. It has a relaxed lifestyle with a mix of locals, travelers, and expats, giving it a friendly but low-key social scene. Days often revolve around the beach, surfing, yoga, or nature walks, while evenings might bring casual gatherings or live music.

The town has a variety of food options and is close to outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, and island trips. It feels peaceful and remote but still offers enough amenities, with the town of Pedasí nearby and Panama City about five hours away.
