Description
Hello workawayers! We are a new family tourism company localised close to Medellin, Colombia in a small village. We are Alejandra, colombian and Arnaud, french, both industrial engineers, we were tired of our engineer lifes between France and Switzerland (9 years working as industrial engineers between the 2 countries, living in France and working in Switzerland) and we decided one year ago to leave France to start a tourism activity here in Colombia to be clother of the nature and to have less stress in our lifes. We speak french and Spanish as maternal language and fluent english, that we are losing a little bit because we don't use it a lot now that we are living in Colombia...
We have a guesthouse where we are living in Girardota (30min away from Médellin city center) in a tipical colombian small town with swimming pool, a lot of fruit trees, petanque area, electronic dartboard, billard pool (and french because we have small things to plug the holes), outside kitchen... The workawayers will sleep in Girardota next to this we have like a travel agency (based in Girardota aswell) we organized trips from several days to several weeks for 2 to 7 people groups between Coffee region (6h at the south of Medellin), Antioquia (4h around Medellin) and Carribean Choco (6h at the north of Medellin). To organize this trips the most personalized we can we send a questionnaire (accomodation, transport, activities, food...) to the future group of customers and with the answers we arm a plan for them. We love nature, we love showing how Colombia is beautiful, we love receive people...Types of help and learning opportunities

The idea is spending most of time in Girardota but you ll have to go to Trigana in the jungle, in each case, the sleeping is FREE and you'll have a private space, in Trigana, it's an Hostal so it's possible that you have to share the room it depends of the period, if it s full or not.
Girardota has 4 rooms (3 with TV and 2 with private bathroom) to rent so you could have the choice, we have to decide together directly here and it s possible that it change during your stay. The kitchen is outside (there is 2 fridges, microwave, BBQ, oven, gaz), we have wifi, swimming pool, billard pool (and french, there’s stuff to plug holes...), petanque area, dartboard...) we have a baby (he was born on July the 3rd of 2019), 2 nice's dogs and 2 parrots... Medellin is 30min far with our personal car (Alejandra's father go to Medellin everyday) and 50min by public transport (colectivo+bus+metro or colectivo+bus).
Treegana Hostal in Trigana, Caribbean Choco, there is 5 rooms to rent (treehouse include) and you have to see directly there with the person in charge of the Hostal. It s an Hostal so there is a private kitchen and another collective one. For the moment there is no internet in the Hostal but we are making everything to have it as soon as possible, at 5min walking from the Hostal there is a connection possibility. There is natural swimming pool in the Hostal and the nature is wonderful, you ll see monkeys, tucans, parrots, crocodile and some snakes during your stay. 20min walking from the Hostal you can found natural water basin and waterfalls. The beach is at 20min walking and it s plane. We have something for potable water, microwave, freezer, fridge, gaz and wood oven to make nice pizzas, bread, lasagnes and more things! What else ...
