Description
Hi everyone, we are a family of four, Jennifer, Stefano, David who is 11 and Ariel who is 5. We live and work in our countryside agriturismo in central Italy, an organic farm established in the early Eighties. We have 8 donkeys, chickens, pigeons, pigs, cats, dogs. We are surrounded by woodland with beautiful walking paths, here are a sauna in a cave in the forest, a swimming pool, a vegetable garden and olive trees. We produce organic extra virgin olive oil, jams, meat, vegetables.
We have 3 holidayhouses wich we rent for guests and a small restaurant.
Workawayers will not help for our business.

Living in the Umbrian countryside is an experience in itself, connecting with the pace of nature and breathe in the cultural traditions of the heart of Italy. We will share all our knowledge about growing and tending plants and animals, and the principles of organic farming, about italian food, and about living and working in an italian "agriturismo".
Jennie has a passion for naturopathy, yoga, arts, creativity. Stefano for food, plants, tools, wood and fishing. We can help you learn and improve italian and introduce you to our beautiful region.

Help
For this year, we would like to try the experience of the long stay of workaweyers, in terms of months, for building a good relationship to give our family and our work a continuity and a good rhythm of constructive work and leisure time on both sides.
We are looking for people preferentially with a bit Italian speaking (as Stefano and the kids doesn't speak english very well), who can help us with the many things that need doing around our family house and farm.
We need help with gardening, wood cutting, cooking lunch, keep clean the inside and outside spaces, maintenance works and take care of the chicken and rabbits. In summer we need help with watering the plants, harvesting of vegetables, fruits and production of jams and preserves, clean the swimming pool, play and stay with the kids as they will be at home while we have more guests coming in the agriturismo and are more busy.
If you have any experience in handcrafts, wood works, carpentry, gardening, painting and repairs you are perfect for our place!
Would be nice to have new pictures and videos of our work and our place. So, if you are creative in this, we will really appreciate your help!
Usually we work in the morning and the afternoon is free for your time. We have lunch together which is usually prepared by workaweyers. Saturday and Sunday are free so you can explore the area if you like or spend your time in the agriturismo.
So, we prefere to host people for long stay but we can host also for shorter periods.

Accommodation
We offer an apartment on the ground floor of our big farm house. Regarding food you will have breakfast by your own, lunch is usually all together and dinner is seperated as breakfast. Ingredients are always provided and obviously you’ll have access to all our own products (meat, olive oil, vegetables, fruit, eggs...).
What else ...
We live in the countryside, the next town is 4 Km from us, very small, but there is anything you need. 20 Km from us there is Orvieto, a small city, and vary nice to visiting. We are surrounded by many wood, paths and streets for walkings and for mountain bike tours, many nice town to visit with each his own interesting story. Nearby there is the Bolsena lake for very nice one day stay, where you can also canoing or windsurfing, and the same on the Trasimeno Lake too. In the surrounding there are nice walls for climbing and a very nice fitness club with also an indoor climb wall. There are interesting caves to visit with guides, and not far there are thermal bath, free or in spa. We live in a very nice place! To discover and to love.
During summer time almost every day you can find something to do in the towns nerby, as music, live music, coctails, outside cinema or theatre, dancing, walkings with guide, and mostly food.
We can have times to spend together and you can explore by yourself.
