    Description

My name is Dodochi and we are family of 5 people.

My hometown is located next to the ancient city Archaeopolis (Nokalakevi), 20 minutes drive from the Black Sea, and 40 minutes drive from Kutaisi. It is surrounded with lush green area, it's quiet and cozy small town.

We are looking for helpers to support our household in three main areas. The first is garden work, which includes caring for the garden and plantations, maintaining outdoor spaces, and looking after a small chicken coop with its daily routine and upkeep. The second is household support, involving general maintenance of the house, cleaning, tidying, and helping with the preparation of meals in a shared and organized home environment. The third is childcare, which includes babysitting and caring for our 1-year-old child, ensuring a safe, attentive, and warm environment with responsible supervision. There is no age or gender preference for the garden and household tasks. For childcare, however, we are specifically looking for women aged 25 and above.

We offer a private room for one or two guests in our family home. You'll share the kitchen and bathroom with us, and you're welcome to use the washing machine whenever needed. Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Facilities you might need during your stay including supermarkets, pharmacies, healthcare services, hair salons, cafés, and public transport is located nearby and easy to reach on foot. If you need to make a quick trip, we also have a car and are happy to give you a lift whenever our schedule allows.

We provide two meals per day (breakfast and lunch). However, dinner is not provided, and guests are welcome to use our fully equipped kitchen at any time to prepare additional meals, snacks, or drinks using their own ingredients. If you enjoy cooking, you're welcome to prepare your own meals and share recipes from your culture. We love exchanging culinary traditions, are always happy to try dishes prepared by our guests, and enjoy introducing visitors to traditional Georgian cuisine, occasionally accompanied by a glass of traditional Georgian wine.

Please note that we have a 1-year-old baby, so maintaining good hygiene and respecting quiet hours, especially during the evenings and at night, is very important in our home. We appreciate guests who are considerate, clean up after themselves, and are comfortable being independent when needed, as our family schedule can be busy. Thank you for helping us create a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone.

We welcome responsible, caring, and reliable people who are comfortable contributing across these areas as needed and would be very keen to hear your ideas and visions.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Helpers will benefit from a genuine cultural exchange by living with us in a small, non-touristic town in western Georgia, where they can experience an authentic local lifestyle away from mass tourism. They will have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment, ideal for self-reflection, rest, reading, meditation, and yoga. Together with us, they can take part in cultural and language exchange, as well as share homemade Georgian meals and traditional Georgian wine. In addition, they can explore the surrounding area, including nearby rivers, natural landscapes, and historical sites, while also giving them the chance to learn new practical and life skills through daily activities and shared experiences.
