Ciao, Ale & Emma here :)

We are backpackers looking for new ways to sustain our travelling lifestyle while gaining unique and exciting experiences. We tend to say we are 'slow travelers' as we like to take the time to experience each place that we are in. We care more about the people and experiences than hitting all the sights.

Our travel style is quite relaxed. We enjoy going on exciting adventures but also love to just hang out, have a beer and chat, or wander aimlessly around whatever town we've landed in.
Workaway will be an exciting opportunity for us to have more unique and personal experiences and connections while travelling.

Alessandro is a software engineer working remotely for his own company, currently taking a leave of absence to explore new and different opportunities.
Emma recently finished her studies in Environmental Sciences and is currently learning graphic design and illustration.

Our favourite travel experiences are the unexpected ones, finding the best food ever in a small local restaurant tucked away in a corner or stumbling upon beautiful places empty of people because they are not on the tourist radar.

Emma: I have experience in customer service and housekeeping from working in a hostel. I have a strong background in animal care (both pets as well as larger farm animals) from years of helping out at my parents veterinary clinic and alpaca farm. Here I also worked on some basic DIY/repair projects and other farm work. Furthermore, I can cook, do creative or copywriting, design, do administrative work, and teach English.

Alessandro: I have strong skills in software-related activities from my work and academic experience. I'm also well-versed in administrative work, some social media marketing, and have a solid foundation in customer service from my previous corporate roles. I have experience in housekeeping, childcare and basic pet-sitting. I can do digital-content creation, copywriting and do support across any forms of contacts. Additionally, I’m a decent general handyman and and enjoy taking care of gardening and farm tasks.
