Description
We’re Dircé (26) and Sam (27), a young couple who love discovering new places and meeting people from around the world.
We’re both passionate about food, we love trying dishes from every corner of the globe!
Sam is a big fan of anime and video games, while Dircé enjoys going out, dancing, and watching K-dramas.
Together, we share a love for salsa dancing and good music.
Our favorite genres include Latin, afro, rap, R&B, jazz, soul, and French music. Basically, anything that makes you want to move or relax with a smile.
Sam is the more introverted one : calm, kind, and very easygoing. Dircé is outgoing and loves socializing, bringing energy and warmth wherever she goes.
We both have multicultural roots : Dircé is French & Mexican, and Sam is French & Senegalese which probably explains our love for diversity, flavor, and connection in every form!
We live in the suburbs just outside Paris, in Choisy-le-Roi (RER C line – Paris is only 10 minutes away). It’s a lovely neighborhood with parks, and the Seine River is just a short walk from our home.
Two types of workaway :
1- [We may have found workawayers for this period]
At the end of april & may - we’re looking for someone kind and trustworthy to take care of our cat while we’re away.
Our cat’s name is Riley. She’s very shy, so unfortunately, you won’t really be able to approach her. The only way she’ll come close is if she decides to come to you herself—and even then, it’s best not to try to pet her too much.
It’s perfectly possible to live comfortably with her; she just needs to be left alone. She still enjoys having company and appreciates having someone around in the apartment.
You’ll have access to our apartment, staying in the guest room. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, TV, internet, and of course, some feline company :)
We’ll ask you to come two days before our departure so that our cat can get used to you while we’re still here.
2- We might also consider hosting someone during other periods when we’re home — not for pet sitting, but someone who enjoy cooking, tidying up the kitchen afterward, and keeping the place clean. We love sharing meals together, it’s one of the best ways to connect. We also love sharing a meal just watching series depend on what everyone wants. In that case, we usually do the grocery shopping together and simply split the costs. We could spend sometime together if you want to ! :) We have full time jobs and activities on week days so we will be busy. We will be more available on weekends ! We're not intrusive hosts at all, if you prefer to do your own thing and have some privacy, that's absolutely no problem!

Accommodation
We have a guest room of 11 m² in a 75 m² apartment. You’ll have the place to yourself if we’re away. There’s also an underground parking space in case you’d like to rent a car (note: maximum height 2 m).
For groceries, you can shop at supermarkets (Lidl and Leclerc are about 20 minutes away by bus) and cook in our kitchen. We’ve just moved in, so we don’t have any photos of the apartment tidy yet — but they’re coming soon :)
What else ...
The RER train takes you to Paris in just 10 minutes. The station is an 8‑minute walk from the apartment, so it’s very quick to get into the city — about 35 minutes to the Eiffel Tower from home.
Please don’t invite anyone to the apartment and try to keep noise to a minimum out of respect for our neighbours.
