***** JANUARY/FEBRUARY *****
Looking for people with experience with horses and also people for the genereal help around the farm.
*****Do you want to experience life on a farm in Normandy? *****
You have come to the right place!
We very much appreciate all kinds of help and in general on our farm we are searching for:
- People who consider themself handy are always welcome
- People who don’t mind to get their hands dirty and help us with the general maintenance of our farm
- People who have a love for horses and like to help us out with taking care of our own horses (Thoroughbreds and Lusitano's)
Who are we?
Welcome to our home! We are a French-Spanish family and together with our horses we live in an amazing very characteristic farm from the 17th century. Except the horses, our family consists of 2 inside cats, 4 outside cats, some chickens and our rooster.
The nearest village (Le Molay-Littry) is just 5 km away from our place and it has it’s own trainstation. A trainride of 5 minutes will take you to the beautiful and historical city of Bayeux with various shops and restaurants and the very well known Tapestry of Hastings.
Only 20 km away from the farm there is the sea with it’s famous D-Day beaches.
How to get here?
The closest big city is Caen which can easily be reached from Paris by bus (+- 3hours) or train (+- 2hours). From Caen you then hop onto a train to Bayeux or Le Molay-Littry and we will meet you at the trainstation.
Looking forward to meet and work with you!
All the best and happy travel!

Not far from major touristic areas: D-Day beaches (15 kms) and Bayeux (15 kms) in Normandy for tourism (Omaha Beach, Arromanches and his artificial port, American Cementery, Tapestry of Bayeux , Caen city and the Memorial, Pointe du Hoc).
Other D-Days beaches 20 to 40 kms (Juno, Sword, Utah and Gold). Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey ( 115kms)
Discovery of the life of a farm (inseminations in season, birth of foals)
Skills with gardening, painting, woodwork ...
For people that want to help us out with our horses, we can only accept experienced horse people to help with anything more than the daily cleaning and feeding. This is for safety reasons since we have mostly mares with foals and yearlings. We are breeding horses, so this means that we don't have horses for riding.
Private or shared (2 persons) rooms in the house and a shared bathroom. There is a seperate living area for the volunteers and all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) we eat together.
Very close to to D-Day beaches (Second World War). Omaha, Juno, Sword, Gold, Utah beaches.
Mont St Michel one hour driving.
Points of interest: city of Bayeux (15 Kms) with Tapestry of Hastings and Caen (30kms) with Memorial for the Peace .
