Bonjour ! Nous sommes Luiz et Abby, un couple brésilo-américain. Comme Luiz parle français, nous sommes très enthousiastes à l'idée de découvrir la culture locale et de vous aider dans votre projet !
Hi there! We are Luiz and Abby, a Brazilian-American couple currently living in Brazil. We are planning to spend some time exploring France, Italy, and beyond!
We both work remotely in IT for American companies. This means we are fully available to help out during the mornings, as our afternoons and evenings are usually spent behind the screen. We are looking for a balanced exchange where we can contribute to your project while experiencing the local culture.
We love children, the countryside, and spending our free time reading or writing. Music is also a huge part of our lives: Luiz plays the piano and Abby loves to sing, so we’d be thrilled to share some musical moments with hosts who appreciate the arts.
Communication won't be a problem! We both speak English and Portuguese fluently. Luiz also speaks French, and Abby has some knowledge of Italian. We are very open-minded and eager to help with gardening, landscaping, kitchen tasks, or childcare. Even though we aren't "experts" in manual labor yet, we are fast learners and always give our best!

My name is Luiz, and I bring a mix of technical logic and creative energy. I have a deep knowledge of IT, computers, and programming, but I find my balance in music—I play both the piano and the guitar.
At home, I really enjoy spending time with kids; I love creating engaging actiities and finding fun ways keep them entertained and learning. While I am not a professional chef, I am a reliable kitchen assistant and can handle various meals with a bit of guidance.
I am also very enthusiastic about getting my hands dirty! Whether it is working on a farm or taking on landscaping projects, I am fully open to manual labor. Even in areas where I lack prior experience, I am a very fast learner and highly motivated to contribute to the daily needs of a homestead or project.

Hi! I'm Abby. I enjoy hands-on work and helping out wherever I can. I especially like working in the garden and am happy to assist with planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and general outdoor tasks.
I have experience teaching English to both adults and children, and I enjoy helping people practice conversation in a relaxed and encouraging way. If a host family is interested, I’d also be happy to help with language practice or informal lessons.
I also enjoy cooking and helping in the kitchen. I like preparing simple, healthy meals and can help with meal preparation, cleaning, and general household tasks.
In general, I’m adaptable, organized, and enjoy learning new skills. I’m always happy to contribute wherever help is needed, whether that’s gardening, cooking, helping with kids, practicing languages, or supporting daily tasks around the house.
