Description
We are a Dutch retired couple .
And we been living 20 years in Portugal
We live in the middle of Portugal, near the Serra da Esterela.
just outside the village Midoes municipality Tabua.
Together with our dog and cat
We have a quinta of 2 hectares
We love living here.We enjoy the good food and fine wine.
The peace and quiet
and especially the friendly and hospitable people here
We search every year again people who want to help us

We offer a wooden chalet in which to live.
It has a living room, kitchen where everything is available.
There is a sofa-bed in the house.
There is a bathroom with shower and toilet and sink.

We live on a small farm about 2 kms from the nearest village.
There is a restaurant a post office, bank office, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, a beautiful church,
and everything you need to live.
We have three friendly dogs. The main town in the area - Oliveira do Hospital - is 12 kms away. Our immediate neighbours are Portuguese speaking but there are some English and Dutch speaking ex-pats in the area. There are nice walks and views in the area.

And in the winter there is the opportunity to go skiing in the Serra da Esterela.
We also find it fun to eat together and in the evening to have a drink.

It may be beneficial to have your own transportation if choosing us, as we are situated in a beautiful part of the country with many amazing attractions, but are not serviced by public transport systems.

José can work with any machine, from chainsaw to tractor, assisted by Fraziska, they form a supper team that can work completely independently.
