  Description

  I am a friendly, helpful, practical person. I teach Yoga full time and I am open to sharing my home with someone who is self-aware, kind and willing to work.
  
  I appreciate solitude as I work with the public, so downtime is important to me but the house & garden are big so I can’t maintain everything alone.
  
  The work is not too heavy, I just need consistent help with keeping the weeds from taking over, maintaining the cleanliness of the house and occasional house & pet sitting. Most of my time is spent working so a helping hand would be greatly appreciated. When I moved to my home I realised immediately that this place is very special and I say with absolute certainty that this is my favourite place on the whole planet, it is enchanted: big old trees, a stream running through the garden, a safe, beautiful & comfortable home. The Yoga centre here is gorgeous & we’ve built a lovely community even though it’s a rural place, it's testament to the progressive nature of the people here. Ideally our workaway person would have a love of nature, Yoga and cats :)

  My home is serene and in the countryside, I also run a Yoga School here so it is preferable if the workaway guest is a practitioner and could then avail of some classes in exchange for the weeding, housework and animal care. I am not in a position to pay a monetary wage. We run regular workshops and classes here plus we are in the middle of a Teacher Training Course at the moment. Should the workawayer wish to deepen their existing Yoga Practice or begin & commit to a Practice, this is the absolute perfect place. If you choose to come here, you can treat it as an old skool Ashram experience, upkeep of the property & help with housework in exchange for food, board & Yoga tuition.

  Help

  I have a big garden and need help with weeding & maintenance to keep everything beautiful. Also I occasionally go away and have 3 cats who require a human presence.
  
  It is important to clarify that I expect the workawayer to take initiative and be in charge of their own hours and life here, I don't mind when they help as long as the tasks gets done.

  The house is big so there is plenty of privacy and space. The workaway guest would have a bedroom & bathroom to themselves. I live alone, but have my teachers and friends coming to visit regularly at weekends, my home is nurturing and comfortable and always full of joy. I cook a lot and the kitchen is one of the most lived-in rooms of the house. My work schedule is varied so mostly you will have to cook your own meals, however all food is provided, I’m an omnivore, all diets are welcome and I can provide separate cookware for veggos & vegans.

  What else ...

  We are nestled in the serene & exquisite countryside of West Waterford there are many mountains and forests to explore and it's great for cycling. There’s a bicycle here you can borrow. There are some small towns around with interesting historical buildings and our closest city is Cork just 45 mins away. I go into some of the towns regularly for groceries etc. and you're welcome to join me.
  We are very rural and there are no pubs/nightclubs nearby, this environment is conducive to healing and taking a break from the fast/stressful pace of life. If you are interested in visiting cities or tourist attractions in your spare time there are buses from nearby towns that I can provide a lift to if necessary when my work schedule allows it. It’s preferable if the workawayer has their own car but I can discuss a car share if they have a full licence & insurance cover and are a responsible & safe driver. I do not drink alcohol so it’s preferable if the workawayer doesn’t either.
