The foundation was created in 2010, 6 years after the Tsunami. It was managed until 2016 by an European NGO.
Now managed by Janaka’s family and Alice in collaboration with volunteers mainly from Workaway who bring a lot of talent to the team

We offer a real cultural exchange with the local Sri Lankan population, you will see their lifestyle, and you will be part of it.
As you will be in daily contact with locals you will have a great opportunity to lear and practice Sinhalese, to learn to cook Sri Lankan dishes and their daily habits
Help us with
- taking care of our social networks (facebook, instagram). Retouch photos, post content, online interacting with followers and partners who collaborate with us
- public relations (flyering, interacting with people)
- handy people who can helps us with repairing, construction tasks, decoration, cleaning
Volunteers will be engaged with our weekly events (cooking class, dancing show, jam sessions)
We provide bed with en-suite bathrooms. Huge garden, nice terrace and working space.
(We have space for 2 volunteers, couples and families are welcome as well.)

We are located 3 km from the Weligama beach, next to the river in the jungle
Waves, turtles, ocean… you can enjoy sport activities during your free time like surfing, swimming, snorkeling, yoga.
Sri Lanka has its own Ayurvedic system based on a series of prescriptions handed down from generation to generation over a period of 3000 years. If you are interested in alternative medicine this is your place.
