    Description

I am Manuel from Osa Peninsula. I was born and raised on the Osa Peninsula, owner of an old finca on the peninsula which is composed of a food forest, primary forest but also deforested areas.

On the farm you can see many animals since we are connected to the Corcovado National Park. It is a perfect place for bird lovers.

Our project is to create a food forest, reforest deforested areas, preserve the existing rainforest, build wood cabins, develop our vegetable garden, maintain and develop our cocoa plantation, and maintain our garden of native plants of the Osa Peninsula.

This year our goal is to plant 2000 trees. with species native species to the Osa Peninsula.
This year we started monitoring wildlife with camera traps on all our trails. looking for Pumas, Ocelots and other large mammals that we have already had on our property
Bird counts are done weekly using the Merlin and eBird apps.

We are at 30 minutes driving from the nearest town Puerto Jimenez, We are surrounded by many fauna and flora...
