Description
Our Retreat Center is truly a hidden gem, nestled in the mountains of the “Land of Eternal Waters,” the Chirripo Mountains of Costa Rica. This is a place for self-discovery and harmony with nature. It’s a haven where you can come home to yourself and embrace the beauty of a natural environment. Its high elevation, surrounded by diverse wildlife and the proximity to a pristine primary forest, adds to the sacredness of the place. Here we enjoy the presence of three waterfalls and a river on the property, including a cave-like waterfall. Come rest in the natural beauty and serenity, on our completely private 30+ acres, and rest well amidst clear skies, free of light pollution and city noise. Wake to the tranquil sound of tropical birds chirping outside of your window, while the sun rises over the mountains, and rejuvenate yourself for your New Life.
This vision and dream is a family run collaboration.

Currently we are desiring help with creating some pathways to the waterfalls and general maintenance such as cutting weeds. We will be transplanting some plants in preparation for some new gardens around the new house. We will be creating gardens, greenhouses, and doing some clearing to open up the view and other various household projects. Also needing some help with marketing and building out a pitch deck for aligned partnership. A couple would be ideal.

Shared living in my home with guest bedroom and a comfortable double mattress. River and waterfall access. Two meals provided and food for third meal for cooking for participants. Saturday/Sunday’s cook for yourself day.Healthy mix of fruit, vegetables, grains and protein. Bananas and plantains grow on the farm.
What else ...
Time off would look like waterfall and river hikes, hammock lounging, reading, a 4 kilometer walk to the main road and accesible to buses to san Isidro or the moutain towns with many activities, hikes, riverfronts, markets, restaurants, classes and gatherings. Open to driving when we are going to town to markets, etc when it aligns. This is a sanctuary with quiet and dark sky away from bright city lights. Visitors share that they sleep so soundly here.
