    Description

我们是一对日本夫妇。 如果您来自亚洲并且不会说英语也没关系。Tidak apa-apa meskipun Anda tidak bisa berbahasa Inggris atau Jepang.

We share our home with dogs, and it's possible that one of them might occasionally join you in bed. If you are uncomfortable sleeping with dogs, please refrain from applying.
    =========================
Looking for a household helper to stay in exchange for accommodation!

We are a Japanese couple living in Juso, just 1 or 2 stops away from Osaka Station by train. We have 3 small rescued dogs who are smart and easy to look after.

    We prefer following people

*Female (We have only girls dormitory)
    *Reliable
    *Mature
    *Very clean and tidy
*Dog lover with physical strength (able to walk 10km every day)
    *Non-smoker
    *Non-partygoer
(It's fine if you go out at night, but then not being able to wake up and do the laundry is not acceptable.)
*Can shower every night, including rinsing your hair (Coz my husband and one of our dogs have asthma)
*Not a fussy eater (We cannot accommodate specific dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, or pescatarian diets, nor people who avoid vegetables, pork, mushrooms, or fish.)
*Please let us know if you are good at cleaning.
*Someone who travels light would be ideal, as the room is not very large.

A stay of about 2 weeks is fine, though if we both feel comfortable, you can stay longer. We sometimes take workawayers to travel to different cities. If you like to travel around Osaka, you can join us. :)

Please note that you might have to share a room with another workawayer, depending on the schedule.

    Help

We are looking for someone who can support our daily life by helping with general household tasks and caring for our dogs. This is not a job with fixed hours, but rather support that fits into our everyday routine.

Our dogs need long walks or runs of around 10 km each day, so physical stamina is very important. If walking the full distance feels too demanding, you are welcome to use a bicycle. On a typical day, I walk the dogs after work, wash and dry them, and then move on to cooking and household chores. All of this usually takes me about 3 to 4 hours in total when I do it alone, though the exact time depends on your pace.

Your main responsibilities will include helping with laundry (washing, drying, and folding), supporting the daily care of our dogs (walking them, washing and drying them after outings), washing dishes, and keeping shared spaces clean and organized.

We live with three rescued dogs, each with different needs.
Hanavi has a history of heart disease and has undergone surgery.
Hotaru has asthma, so we are careful about cleanliness in the house. After going outside, dogs are showered, and people are expected to change clothes daily and shower every night.
Matsuri sometimes experiences epileptic seizures. She loves running, but if she has cramps, it is important to stay calm, gently hold her, and wait until she recovers.

Above all, the most important responsibility is taking the dogs on long walks every day. Being comfortable and confident with this will be the key factor in our decision.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

It is a detached, standalone wooden house with no garden, offering a quiet and private living environment. The house is over 90 years old, so it has a traditional and slightly old-fashioned atmosphere that reflects the history of the building.

You can sleep either on a bed or on a traditional Japanese futon, depending on your preference. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Basic daily necessities are provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and toilet paper, heirdryer.
The house does not have underfloor heating, but winters in Osaka are generally mild and snow is very rare, so it does not get extremely cold. During winter, we often gather around a kotatsu (a Japanese heated table) and enjoy meals together, which is a warm and cozy part of daily life here.

Three small dogs are nestled among colorful stuffed animals inside what appears to be a claw machine, barely distinguishable from the toys surrounding them. Playful scene!
