  • Description

We are a group of family and friends who are striving for eco-friendly and people-friendly living. 7 people are living here permanently: Mahendra (India), Naomi (Canada) and their two children, Spencer (Canada), Lucas (Spain), Barbora (Czech Republic) and Estelle (France). We always have friends and guests visiting especially during the summer, making the place fun and dynamic; a great place to meet many people.

We’re focused on creating a new kind of settlement where people can live harmoniously and joyfully together and with the rest of nature. Therefore, we find that education is the core to understand our role as human beings and to be able to live without friction, discrimination or exploitation.
That’s why all the activities happening here are ultimately for education purpose. Living is education.

We would like you to feel not just as a volunteer but to become a member of our family for the time that you will be here.

Ultimately we would like to see many families living together in such a way, that we are able to foster self-reliance and become in harmony with the entire humankind and the rest of nature. For this we will need to reconsider our existing ideas regarding economics, politics, education and religion so we can develop a system which does not lead to friction or divisiveness. If you are interested in long-term living for participation in a healthy global community, we are always open for this conversation.

  • Accommodation

There is a main house where some of us live and where we all share meals and different activities. We have there a shared fully-equipped bathroom that you are welcome to use, as well as two compostable toilets.

For your accommodation, different options are possible according to current availability. For example: tiny houses, small bedroom cabins or a small private apartment style unit. Most of them don’t have toilets or shower but as we already mentioned, you can use the shared ones.

All meals will be shared, healthy, organic and vegetarian.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We live in the beautiful Bragg Creek Alberta, nested in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. There are TONS of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding through the magnificent landscapes (many films are shot here for the beautiful scenery).

We are a short drive to Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary but there is no public transportation. However, we go regularly to the city and sometimes do trips together to the mountains.

That being said, with all of the fun things going on right here on the property, most of the people don’t feel the need to leave so often! We have 30+ acres of fields and forests, with trails, a pond and a creek, and beautiful people!

We have good internet connection but limited, so we’ll ask you not to use high data consuming browsing (Netflix, Youtube, etc…)
