My next destination:
Japan - from May 2025 until May 2026 View allDescription
I’m half Japanese, half Welsh and have lived in Wales my whole life. Although I’ve been to Japan a few times I would like to connect more with my Japanese heritage and explore all around the country. My main motivation in life is to have fun. I like to live in the moment, be around friends and family, eat good food, and connect with nature. My favourite hobbies are music and performing arts. My main instrument is bass guitar but I can also play piano. I have been acting in musicals my whole life and absolutely adore performing on stage. I’m always open to new experiences and look forward to whatever the future holds.

Work experience:
For two years I worked as a Tutor at my local youth theatre group, The Performance House, teaching kids aged 4-11. My responsibilities included running fun drama games and exercises, teaching songs, choreographing dances, directing scenes, and working backstage. Besides teaching, I helped with cleaning the hall, liaising with parents, and attending staff meetings.
I also worked at Starbucks, where I was responsible for making and serving drinks, operating the drive-thru, and handling the register. I also assisted with washing dishes, stocking supplies, and keeping the workstations clean and organised. This job really helped me learn how to work efficiently with my colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
I have worked as a freelance session bassist, performing in live gigs, recording sessions, and in the pit of musicals. I’ve also had the opportunity to run recording sessions as a producer. These roles sharpened my skills in communication, time management, and working under tight deadlines.
