Hi everyone!
My name is Marieke, I graduated a few years ago as a textile designer in Belgium, worked a few seasons in hotels abroad and traveled/workawayed a lot ( especially in between seasons )
Personality wise, I'm a true ambivert: I love more than anything to meet and get to know new people and have good conversations, however, I also highly value time alone and can be quiet sometimes.
Besides of that I am an open minded, flexible and ( super) curious person. I am calm but at the same time humour and having a good laugh is very important for me.
I have a high work ethic and enjoy putting myself toward a project as best as I can. I live passionately and mindful.
I'm interested in art, philosophy, movies and literature (fiction, non-fiction); everything that gives me more knowledge about the world actually! I'm interested in doing lots of creative stuff, ( i like to draw and make collages ) And i love to knit warm socks and sweaters as well
Nature is an important aspect of my life as well. I like gardening, being outside ( prefer mountains as we don't have them in Belgium) and hiking..
It is my dream, one day, to have a remote little house surrounded by fields/woods
and have a big garden full of veggies!

- I worked in guesthouses/ hostels and and as an English teacher in Japan, i worked in museums, in restaurants and in theatre
- I speak Dutch, English and a little bit of French but would like to learn new languages in the future (for example Spanish)
- I like learning new things: can be anything!
- I don't mind working hard.
- I like gardening work. i'm not the very best at it yet, but very enthusiastic to learn and I dream of having a big garden in the future) Permaculture really interests me
- I take care of my nieces and nephews a lot. ( I have a lot of them!) I am good with kids. I also have pets at home and like to take care of them.
- I care greatly for the environment and am very dedicated to holding these values.

She is nice and very soft personality.
She stayed only 3 days but it was very memorable.
She took our dogs for a trip.
I believe they really enjoyed time with you.
She tried almost any Japanese food.
I know it was not long enough to know each other but I really like Marieke.
We hope to see her again.
