    Description

We are a family of six. 2 adults (55and 53) a 14 years old daughter and a 17 years old son. We also have two non-resident daughters in their twenties. We are always in need of more hands and have lots of plans for our little farm. We enjoy talking, laughing and cultural exchange along the way.
Placed on an island in the southwest of Norway. We have a small farm with 25 laying hens, two rabbits and one cat. We like to have sheep’s (old breed) but need to build fences and a house for shelter. We don’t live there fulltime but Tor Rune (husband) are there most days. Our philosophy is to develop an organic farm and grow a lot of vegetables and fruit ourselves. We also harvest wild berries and do a bit of fishing.
This summer our focus on the farm will be: gardening, restoring some of the pastures, refurbish a boathouse, lay roof tiles, build fences, build a small sheep barn/shelter, brew beer, paint, some construction work, light forest work, wood chopping and building upkeep.
