    Description

Hello! I'm Yenny, and I live an hour outside of Bogotá in a beautiful apartment with stunning mountain views in La Calera. I love traveling and yoga.

I'm looking for a responsible, cat-loving volunteer who can support me while I travel.

    Help Needed:

Cat Care – Look after my two adorable cats while I'm away.

Apartment Tasks – Light help around the house.

In exchange, you’ll stay in a peaceful, inspiring space with fast internet and amazing views—perfect if you work online or enjoy quiet time in nature. I welcome volunteers who are organized, caring, and interested in yoga or wellness.

If this sounds like a fit for you, I’d love to hear from you!

While caring for my cats during my absence, you’ll also have the chance to immerse yourself in the serene lifestyle of the Colombian Andes. You can enjoy scenic mountain walks, connect with the rhythms of nature, and sip world-class Colombian coffee while taking in breathtaking views.

This is a perfect opportunity to step away from the busy city life and experience a slower, more mindful way of living. You'll gain insight into Colombian culture, explore local foods and customs in La Calera, and possibly even exchange ideas around yoga, wellness, or creative freelancing if that interests you.

Thank you for considering this opportunity—I look forward to connecting with like-minded travelers!

    Help

I run freelance projects related to yoga, wellness, and media, and I’m often traveling—so I’m looking for a responsible and caring traveler to stay at my place and help with a few key tasks.

    🐾 Caring for My Cats
I have two sweet cats who are now well-adapted to their home but need daily playtime and companionship. They’re calm but can be sensitive to noise, so a peaceful atmosphere is important.
    Your responsibilities will include:

Feeding them and giving them fresh water daily

Keeping them indoors at all times

    Cleaning their litter box regularly

Spending time with them and playing

    Taking out the trash

    🏡 Helping Around the Apartment
To keep the space comfortable and clean, I’d appreciate help with simple chores such as:

    Watering plants

    Sweeping floors

    Keeping the bathroom tidy

    🌿 What You’ll Get
In exchange, you’ll have your own peaceful space with high-speed internet, incredible mountain views, and a quiet environment—perfect if you work remotely or need inspiration from nature.

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I’d love to hear from you!

    Accommodation

You’ll stay in a cozy private room with a comfortable bed in a peaceful apartment surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The space is calm, clean, and perfect for relaxing or working remotely.

You’re welcome to bring and cook your own food. I’m mostly vegetarian, so I kindly ask that you avoid heavy meat cooking out of respect for the shared space.

La Calera has everything you need just minutes away—local shops, restaurants, and convenient laundromats. While you're here, take time to unwind, enjoy the peaceful setting, and feel at home in this tranquil environment.

Getting Here & Exploring the Area
Transportation from Bogotá to La Calera is simple and affordable. Buses run every 15–20 minutes from Calle 72 and Carrera 13, near a TransMilenio station. Just hop on a Transportes Teusacá bus (approx. $6,200 COP), and you can easily walk to the apartment from the last stop. Alternatively, Uber or private drivers can bring you directly—I’m happy to share contact info for trusted local transport.
