    Description

We are a family run eco-lodge that maintains a small farm near the city of San Francisco de Marcoris. We are looking for some extra hands to help us grow and expand our operation. Our place is built to unplug, and we focus on living to stay more connected to nature and the land. We live in houses built into the jungle where we share our stay with local wildlife and enjoy beautiful vistas of the mountains, and can see even out to the ocean from atop the mountain.

The project is looking for Workawayers who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and help us grow our farm as well as maintain the facilities we currently operate for outside guests and fun. In exchange for your help ( planting, harvesting, feeding animals, and taking care of the land and houses) we offer you to stay with us in a cozy jungle canbana and keep you well fed with out local food made in our open air kitchen complete with an awsome pizza oven! When your not helping out, theres time to unwind, relax, and maybe take a hike or trip down to the river Boba as well as go on a trip around our beautiful Dominican Republic.

Currently we also have four other staff members that will assist you in getting to know the land and what your role in it will be.

While here you will be staying in our above ground cabanas that are basically treehouses tucked away in the jungle. They are not luxury hotels, but they are super cozy and complete with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Nice beds, fresh sheets, and private bathrooms with hot water ( a major bonus out here!)

One of the best parts is waking up here hearing the birds in the morning mountain mist. Cabanas also include small kitchenettes, but for most meals we cook together in the mountain top kitchen. In your free time here people are usually enjoying a book overlooking the valley, off on adventure to the water and just taking time to unplug a bit from the busy world around. If you are looking for a fancy resort this is not it, but if you want to actually live in the forrest, you will love it here.
