Details
 - Description- Hi! We’re Jamie and Harriet – an outdoorsy, animal-loving couple living in beautiful Castalla, Spain. We share our little slice of paradise with our two cats and two horses, and we’re always up for good company, good food, and a bit of hard work in the sunshine!
I’m originally from Italy and love to cook (so you’ll be well-fed!), while Harriet works with horses and spends as much time as possible outdoors. We’re friendly, relaxed people who enjoy meeting others from around the world, sharing stories, and learning new things.
 Our Place
We live on a lovely, spacious 5-bedroom private property set on around 2 acres of land filled with fruit and olive trees. The land keeps us busy — there’s always something to do, from tending the garden to general maintenance and other projects.
Your accommodation will be in our fully equipped 3-bedroom annex, which has its own private access, garden, and pool. It’s a comfortable and peaceful space where you can relax after a day’s help.
This is a private homestead with no business activity.

We’ve got lots of exciting projects planned over the next couple of years, so if you’re easygoing, hands-on, and love the outdoors, we’d love to have you join us!
 - Help- The Help We Need
We would love to help with learning, whether thats language, or local attractions, we have lots to offer. There is a fantastic history of castles nearby and you would love to see them.
The house needs a lot of help that we are happy to chip away at. There are a variety of projects that I have in mind, all with different scales of priority, and I would like to think that different workawayers could assist on a project to suit them and be a general helping hand and good company.
Some of the examples of help that a workawayer could contribute with:
Households chores like: help move some household items, cook a meal, get the shopping in, clean up.
Light activities: fetch a tool, hold a ladder, help mount furniture, help to clear up.
 Garden/yard activities: Weeding, watering.
