    Description

I am a passionate individual that loves nature to the fullest. Also, I love caring for animals and providing for my rescue dogs. Our team is small and everyone is fully involved in keeping up the property, the plants and the animals that live here.

This is a non-profit project that focuses on sustainability, eco practices and the protection of the animals in the area.

Our commitment is to develop self-sustaining mechanisms in organic agriculture. We pay special attention to the soil and its nutrients to achieve optimal crops.

Considering that we only ask for 5 hours of volunteer work in the morning, travelers can relax starting late afternoon-evening and all day on Saturday and Sunday. That's plenty of time to enjoy and hike our 300,000 sq meter property and surrounding areas and communities. Exploring nature and learning our local agriculture. Also, our region is known for the high density of botanical plants used in natural medicine. Furthermore, administrators and workers alike are native Mexicans and we have so much to share: customs, traditions, ways of cooking and the sincere connections with fellow humans.

  • Help

    Help

Main activities are caring for the plants, trees, the animals and any other ongoing projects. General cleaning and maintenance of the property.

We love team work and we all get involved in all the activities: projects, watering and caring for fruit trees, cooking, feeding animals, etc.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have an 'otate casita' (wooden cabin) with a small private room and a secured communal sleeping room with multiple beds and dividers for privacy. We also have tents and hammocks if you prefer to sleep outdoors. We offer two meals daily and you're welcomed to help yourself at anytime you need a snack or more food.

Also, we're building new housing that has so far 80% completion and we can partially occupy some spaces for sleeping. The new building is made of solid concrete with metal finishes. In our area its common to sleep outdoors due to the warm weather and its safe due to the fact that we are isolated and we have a number of dogs that keep an eye on the property (so you could potentially hear some random barking).

    What else ...

Volunteers can explore and hike the area, as well as visiting the adjacent community. We go to the grocery store every other day and we are only 15 minutes away from Manzanillo for more relevant city-like activities. We also have a waterfall and a creek so there is plenty of space to chill. Feel free to ask for more info to get the latest publications about our project.

Feel free to check out our public pages online by looking it up; you will find our website and profiles on Tiktok or Google and other social media platforms.
