    Description

We are a French and Canadian(British Columbia) couple with 2 children & two cats. These children (6 & 10) are easy going, playful, bright, intelligent beings, who love community. We live with a higher intention to serve & grow within and everything around us, creating beauty with spirit. A retreat from conventional life, the land is isolated in southern France, 30 min. from Uzes or Ales and 10 min. from Barjac, a famous village for its works in organic farming and its vision around ecology.

Our land is a small eden. Stunning surround views necklaced with one hectare of diverse trees, orchard, gardens, permaculture projects and spaces to offer sanctuary. Quiet and tranquil and yet a bicycle ride away to near villages, old dolmens, castles, sacred sites and the Cèze river. We have solar energy, a well for water. Mobiles work but we have no wifi cable internet. This is a place to find oneself and not really to connect with the "world" if you wish. To have more time to unplug and move with the rhythms of nature and growing things.

We are vegetarian and we cook great fresh, local, organic food and as much from our own gardens that is always expanding.

We are practitioners of an Indian Spiritual Lineage that goes back a few generations and are connected with teachers around France, India and the US.

I have been guiding spiritually people for the past couple of years and Teaching in the tradition of Tantra after my Master. My partner Shelley, is a highly trained International Yoga Teacher and offers Teacher Trainings and guidance for students/teachers for over twenty years. It is quite important for us to do all the things we do with Love, attention, care and consciousness and it is our hope to meet people who understand these principles and are interested not just in permaculture but also in the spirit we have to offer.

Our place is more like a Sanctuary, an Ashram, which makes it a place of practice and to explore oneself. A sacred space where spontaneity and living in the moment come alive. There are vast opportunities to practice, work on oneself and engage in the Work and in relationships with conscious community living. We appreciate the Seva (karma yoga) that each being brings to this space and their unique flavour, growth and understanding. We see how karma yoga is a means to serve one's own personal journey, especially in an intentional environment, in working with self-observation, the mind, emotions and physical body. We use skillful means in our efforts and communications, provide an open dialog with sincerity and compassion. Holding space for the full spectrum of life to blossom, including transformational work with the shadow and living from a place of love, forgiveness and peace.

*Note: Our policy around Covid is to continue living...not wearing masks for example, but being compassionate to all those around us with deep respect and consideration.

We are inspired to live in community and be completely self sufficient. We see what is happening to our planet and are bringing our efforts collectively to live more simply in the now with abundance, laughter and love. We raise the children half-time (the mother has them half of the time) in conscious parenting. This land is a wonderland for children and they are most welcome should you have your own and it is a good alignment.

Our current and ongoing projects are...

Expanding & maintaining the vegetable garden and orchard
Construct a small apartment for guest or residents
    Build a Bamboo geo-dome & children's garden/space
Construct a sweat lodge or sauna
    Embellish the Japanese Garden
Convert the 2 chalets into an all year around homestead for guests/practitioners
Expanding the solar and water systems
Interior design projects for the main homestead
Construction of an outside communal kitchen & building a bread/pizza oven
Landscaping, permaculture and ongoing exploration of ways to grow plants, herbs and trees optimally
Building beehives & providing care for bees
Turning food/herbs into medicine and learning about health and healing that support spiritual work

    Accommodation...
Tent or Chalet or Caravan... depending on availability.
It's not a luxury resort but a very humble yet magical place 🙂

    Directions...
There are a few different ways to get here, mainly 3 airports; Nimes, Marseille and Montpellier. The train comes in Ales and there is a bus that can lead you to our main road and it is only 10 mins from there. Just let us know how you like to come and we will arrange something to get you here.

Thank you for considering us in your journey, if you have read all of this so far and feel connected to our spirit, please write to us and share why you would like to come and how long approx. you would like to stay.

Thank you so much and wishing you a beautiful journey.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We live in south france near beautiful villages, famous rivers and canyons, near BARJAC 30430 (gard)
A stunning river is a few km by, another one a bit further very famous for its cannying and its amazing canyon. Many prehistoric caves, lots of forests and the Unesco forest called "les cevennes" which is about 20 mn away
We have bikes and our area is stunning, plus the place where we live is isolated and quiet, great for meditation, writing reading, walking around etc...
Please note again that we are vegetarians. If you need to have meat, this place wont fit for you.

We have already people staying with us and are now only interested in people looking for a different, deeper experience and the Teaching rather than just a permaculture experience or a good time.
Please read our entire profile and respond only if you are very spiritually oriented and interested in what we have to offer.
We are NOT into new age, neo things whatsoever. Our roots and teachings go back thousands of years into Vajrayana Bouddhism and Lefft Hand Tantra from India. OUr sanctuary is a place to find oneself, practice and transform ourselves.
If that talks to you, then we should talk.
    We have a seminar on Tantra coming up in July. For more info contact us please;
    Namaste
