    Description

    Our Ranch is a small Christian community of 50 people with many children that is pursuing self-sufficiency, organic farming and gardening. Clean energy sources and above all a God-centered life-style. We have a variety of work including: shepherding sheep, goat keeping,
    raising catle and horses, beekeeping, cheesemaking, all things relating to food-cooking, baking, canning, freezing, drying, berry picking etc. Carpentry, cutting lumber, making bio-diesel, mechanics, plowing seeding, haying. Beer and wine making. Wool processing, felting, dyeing, spinning etc.
    We are in need of help in the summer months but you are welcome to come anytime of the year.

    We hope to include our volunteers within every part of our day. We hope to share comradery and spirituality with our volunteers.Almost everything is done together and sharing our faith and worldview is uppermost. We are eager to learn cultural skills in medicine, especially natural and herbal. Clean energy alternatives and organic farming practices.

    Help

    General help with gardening, farm chores and summer farm activities.

    Volunteers will begin the day with basic tasks such as caring for goats or weeding the garden. Then we all eat breakfast together before breaking off into what needs to be done that day. The volunteer will learn about what it takes to run each aspect of the farm and how to sustain a self-sufficient community.

    All food and lodging is free, breakfast and supper are held communally at a large log dinning hall and families have lunch separately. Lots of accommodations.
