Hi, I'm Mirte and I'm 23 years old. I've studied Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, and am very interested in people and their ways of living all around the world. Now that I am graduated, I want to take this time to travel, meet new people and gain life experiences along the way.
I love to create, from drawing to writing to making things with my hands. I also love nature and working with all kinds of animals, especially horses. Enjoying the small things in life makes me happy, such as the birdsong around my house and the mushrooms coming up everywhere in the fall. My faith and relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in my life. I want to be loved by Him and to love others as He loves us.

- I am a fast and eager learner. I love to learn new things and I pick them up quickly.
- I have some experience working with animals, including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I also have experience horse riding (english style) since I was nine years old, although I haven't ridden consistently for some years now. I really want to learn how to ride western.
- I have some experience gardening, helping my mom in our garden. We started gardening according to the "Back to Eden" method this year, which has been really fun to try. We have also tried to ferment and can some stuff, some of which was succesful, some not so much.
- I have a lot of creative skills (drawing, writing, bookbinding, making collages, photography, etc.)
- I like to cook and discover new recipes, as well as baking every once in a while.
- I am very good at planning and organising stuff.
