    Description

    Hello Workawayers :)

Welcome to Innessence Stockershorst, our beautiful retreat center located in the South of Holland.
Our venue is hired on a regular basis by retreat organizations that come here with groups of people and stay for a few days.
They practice different activities according to their own programm: yoga, meditation, sound healing, art therapy and many more!
Our role is to contribute to their exceptional experience by making our property look incredible and cooking delicious meals!

    Our place:
A big property away from the city that includes a retreat center (up to 30 people), a “staff village” (up to 11 people), a veggie patch and even a forest!

    Our team:
About 8 open minded and dynamic people (more details below), one sweet dog, two pigs, 3 goats and a few chickens ;)

    Atmosphere:
Depending on whether there is a group staying or not, this place can either be very calm or quite hectic! We adapt :)

    We are looking for:
Enthusiastic, proactive and curious people, that are happy to be by themselves as well as with a group!

    We offer:
3 organic vegetarian meals a day + accommodation in exchange for 25 hours of help per week. You might be able to attend / organize all sorts of workshops :)

    Our main house rule:
Conscious parties only = we are alcohol & drug free!
Moto here in the Netherlands: don’t wait for the storm to pass, dance in the rain!

    In short:
You’ll be part of a cool project and meet inspiring people while finding space to connect with nature and express your creativity!

  • Help

    Help

As you can imagine, our place is rather quiet at the moment...
Although we do have a few groups coming every now and then, our main focus is on renovating, reorganizing and decorating our retreat center :)

Therefore we would appreciate your help with general maintenance projects (putting up shelves, painting walls, moving furnitures around, etc.) as well as with the daily activities (cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, doing laundry) and some other projects (organic garden, take care of animals, etc.).

Volunteer help is 25 hours / week; roster is communicated at the beginning of each week :)

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have a lovely “staff village” on the property, amongst which the great volunteers house! It has a kitchen and a living room featuring a humongous couch, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub!!!
At the moment it needs a bit of love and decoration but it is still a very nice place to be :)

You’ll most likely get your own room, but it can also be that you’ll share with another workawayer, depending on how many volunteers are staying with us.

Our retreat is 100% vegetarian and we offer three meals a day, as well as coffee and tea :)

Pets are welcome as long as: - they are good with kids - they don't chase chickens - they get along with other dogs - they do not bark all the time (Sara is already taking that job ^^)
