  • Description

    Description

We welcome you to a non-profit foundation with a retreat centre and an eco-village initiative.

The land exists to provide you a safe space to rest and explore your inner peace.

We are heading towards co-creating a collaborative space for retreats, gatherings, and events, aligned with the vision, and intention of the space.

The land is located in a beautiful area of nature. We are restoring the monastery/church amongst other things. It is a place that is open for people to stay at to connect and find their inner peace. The experiences held at our retreat centre are non-profit and Workawayers won’t need to help with any paying guests or visitors.

On-site our team offers things like yoga, qi-qong, meditation, massages, life coaching, etc. to those who stay here (based on availability and possibility). You are invited to join the activities and practices and initiate activities yourself as well.

Music making, language skills and cultural exchange.

Building a community together and therefore we intend to come together around the fire to make music, share food, etc.

We also have spiritual and integration coaches here who are happy to share their insights, wisdom and time with you. We can also teach people to set up their own retreat, business as we have some people here with extensive business and marketing knowledge.

We are also very keen to learn about you and build relationships whether they lead to future co-creations or not.

  • Help

    Help

As a community, we come together to clean and care for the retreat centre every week. Beyond that, we love inviting volunteers to step into projects and tasks that genuinely spark their interest and creativity.

At this moment, we are primarily welcoming support with cleaning and housekeeping; general and light maintenance; and some help in strengthening our digital presence. These areas are our current focus and where help is most needed.

A little later, depending on how priorities unfold, we will gradually open back up to other areas such as painting, gardening, permaculture, and wider community projects. This can include maintaining and improving shared spaces, and eventually supporting community projects around kazumis, yurts or tipis as well.

We love working with people who enjoy contributing in a hands on way; whether that is helping care for the land, being handy with practical tasks, supporting with video or photography, cooking together with and for the community, or bringing skills in IT or web development. Some support with education, play, or presence with children is also very welcome.

We work together in a fun, collaborative environment, supporting one another and sharing as much of the process as possible. An independent and self directed attitude is highly appreciated; someone who naturally sees what needs attention, brings ideas, and enjoys bringing them into practice.

Does this kind of contribution feel like something you would enjoy and feel inspired by?

We look forward to co creating, learning, and supporting one another along the way.

    Can possibly accept pets

We love animals and would therefore like to welcome pets as well. This will have to be discussed first as we have a lot of animals living on the land already and it needs to match with them and the kids.
