    Description

    Hi,

At the moment we realised all the help we needed.
In the future (probably januari 2027) we might need help again so stay tuned.

We are Merlin and Jeroen living in Friesland the north of the Netherlands.
We are about to become ” Workawayers” ourselves and live a life off digital nomads for a while.

We live in a house on the outskirt of a little hamlet between the lakes in Friesland with a big garden opposite a small harbour. There is a supermarket in town a short walk away. We “renovated” the house ourselves and because we are no professionals by a long shot the house has a funky vibe. Its mostly build using reclaimed or environmentally friendly materials

If you love being on the water there are lots of sailing, surfing, canoeing and swimming opportunities. The Ijsselmeer coast is one of Europe’s premium kitesurf spots and only about 5km away.

If you like to hike there are woods nearby and lovely walks following the dikes.
Our place is well known for its wide variety of birds
We have a jungle like garden overlooking a field with lots of little private nooks to relax and read a book.
If you love nature and a quiet rural place this might be the spot for you. A hike in the woods, a walk on the dikes is just a nice bike ride away.

We have two gentle cats named Selky and Jabberwocky.
They like to be padded and have some attention ones in a while.

We are looking for someone to take care of our cats and water the plants. Eat our strawberries.
