**Chilled vibes, part of the family, next to the ocean, beautiful town, amazing nature. Experience a bit of real Australian small town life. :) ** PLEASE RESPOND TO SPECIFIC DATE OPTIONS BELOW**

    Hey there!

We are a relaxed family of four, living in a beautiful coastal town on the south coast of NSW. There’s Andy & I, and our kids are 11 & 7.

We’re looking for help with projects around the house: painting, gardening and odd jobs. We love meeting travellers! We share cooking and cleaning up. We have a mix of shared time and family time.

**APRIL 3-4 weeks. We're looking for someone/couple to stay during April, who love forest school, camping and gardening. You'll come camping with us and other families (remote) for 10 days by a beautiful river. You'll need to be comfortable camping (only pit toilets) and have ideas for playing with kids aged 7-13. When we're not camping, we'll be in Bermagui, our beachside town doing gardening and odd jobs. **
**MAY 3-4 weeks. We're going to be doing some house maintenance: painting, cleaning, fixing things. Possibly building garden infrastructure too. Having practical skills is a plus!
**JUNE 3-4 weeks. What can you do? We'll have more house maintenance, landscaping and general jobs. The weather will be colder - cold water swims, sauna and walks.

What we offer: a stay in an amazing little town of beautiful beaches, coffee & vibes!

    ——-
Getting to Bermagui can be a little tricky, but that is what makes it so special and untouched. We’re happy to pick you up in Bateman’s Bay, Moruya, Bega or Merimbula.

Buses: There is a bus from Sydney with premier buses, which stops in Bermagui. Also, There’s a bus from Canberra to Bega with NSW countrylink services, and a bus/train from Melbourne with v-link.

Both of us travelled a lot before we had kids! We love travelling, sharing our stories and experiences, learning from each other. We'd really like to practice our German!

With us, you’d get to experience the stunning and relaxed south coast. The beaches and ocean here are some of the most beautiful we’ve seen in the world. There aren’t lots of people around – it’s slower than the city – but we like to get together on a regular basis around a fire, for a dance or for a meal. We also like to slow down, sit on the veranda with a cup of coffee and read a book.

    Accommodation

We have a large, two-story house about 5 min walk from the beach and 15 min walk from town.

You would have your own bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Occasionally if other guests are staying, you might have to share the bathroom. We also have wireless internet.

We share our kitchen with you, and cook meals together.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There are many beaches within walking distance – some for surfing, some for swimming and the river for paddle-boarding. There’s also the Blue Pool – a beautiful ocean swimming pool. There is a surf school (Camel Rock Surf School).

Within driving distance there is Gulaga (a mountain), lovely for hiking. And for food: the famous bread shop Honorbread. Seriously!

There isn't a lot of local public transport - but there is a bus to Bega and Batemans Bay, and a bus to Sydney and Canberra.
