Description
Our home is dedicated to the conservation of ecosystems such as the Páramo del Almorzadero in Colombia. Our objective is to educate environmentally those who wish to live an experience with Colombian endemic birds such as the Oxypogon Guerrini and the Andean Condor. Therefore we are dedicated to rural accommodation and thus show the good of the Colombian countryside.

Nuestro objetivo es educar ambientalmente a quienes deseen vivir una experiencia con aves endémicas colombianas como el Oxypogon Guerrini y el Cóndor Andino. Por lo tanto nos dedicamos al alojamiento rural y así mostrar lo bueno del campo colombiano.

In terms of culture, Chitagá, Norte de Santander, is opening up to the world and offers diverse gastronomy from fruits to proteins such as "trout", which are foods whose flavor differs from the rest. Colombia es uno de los pocos paises que tienen un ecosistema tan basto como el Páramo, una zona que es notablemente muy diferente a las demás que se puedan encontrar en el planeta, por lo que tendrás mucho por aprender sobre la forma en que actúan los frailejones en la producción de agua dulce y apta para consumo del ser humano.
En tema cultural, Chitagá, Norte de Santander, se está abriendo al mundo y ofrece gastronomía diversa desde frutas hasta proteinas como la "trucha", que son comidas cuyo sabor se diferencia del resto.
Además, Chitagá cuenta con una marca de quesos propia y cerveza artesanal

Our project is starting, so we need help in different areas and thus improve the attention to our users.
1. Construction of new lodgings using the mud and bahareque technique.
2. Adequacy of trails, as well as their delimitation. (Locate signs and improve access routes)
3. Artists who want to capture their art on walls, rocks and wherever their imagination reaches. (Preferably paramo birds, Colombian territory, etc.)
4. Being an environment that is dedicated to contributing to nature, any element that is reusable and can beautify our home is welcome.

Nuestro proyecto está iniciando por lo que necesitamos ayuda en diferentes áreas y así lograr mejorar la atención a nuestros usuarios.
1. Construcción de nuevos alojamientos en técnica de tapia y bahareque.
2. Adecuación de senderos, así como delimitación de los mismos. (Ubicar señalizaciones y mejorar rutas de acceso)
3. Artistas que deseen plasmar su arte en paredes, rocas y donde alcance su imaginación. (Preferiblemente aves de páramo, territorio colombiano, etc.)
4. Al ser un entorno que está dedicado a contribuir a la naturaleza, cualquier elemento que sea reutilizable y pueda embellecer nuestro hogar está bien recibido.

Accommodation
We offer rural and comfortable accommodation, the workawayer will stay in a room that will be shared with more volunteers. Each volunteer has their own bed and the bathrooms are in the same room. We provide food, breakfast, lunch and dinner

Our home has space for hiking and trekking, so it has open space to explore nature at its best. Near the place of accommodation is the comagueta lagoon, as well as the 100-meter-high waterfall that bears the same name. After an hour and thirty minutes walking, you can reach the Salado Lagoon and the Tambor Lagoon, which are hidden in rock formations. This is a paramo area and the main activity is hiking. On the other hand, Chitagá is 20 minutes away by transport from our home and you can make a visit on historical, cultural and social topics. You will be able to visit the most important museum in this place, which is the Jorge Eliecer V House Museum, and you will be impressed by how grandiose its walls hide. In addition, you will get to know the peach route, dance groups, churches and great gastronomic diversity.

Nuestro hogar tiene espacio para realizar senderismo y trekking, por lo que cuenta con espacio abierto para explorar la naturaleza en su maximo esplendor. Cerca del lugar de alojamiento se encuentra la laguna comagueta, así como la cascada de 100 mts de altura que lleva el mismo nombre.
A una hora y treinta minutos caminando se puede llegar a la laguna del salado y a la laguna del tambor que se encuentran ocultas en formaciones rocosas. Esta es zona de páramo y la actividad principal es el senderismo.
Por otra parte, Chitagá se encuentra a 20 minutos en transporte desde nuestro hogar y puedes realizar una visita en tema histórico, cultural y social. Podrás conocer el museo más importante de este lugar que es la Casa Museo Jorge Eliecer V, y te impresionará lo grandioso que ocultan sus paredes. Además, conocerás la ruta del durazno, grupos de danzas, iglesias y gran diversidad gastronómica.
