  Hello,
  We live in a Béarnais farmhouse in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region. We are located in the mountains, surrounded by nature and pastures (home to sheep and cows).
  
  Our property features a swimming pool, an orchard, and plenty of open space.
  
  We are a family with two children: Jean (4 years old) and Arthur (16 months old). I am currently pregnant with a third boy, Édouard, due in January 2027 (we are planning a home birth). My partner, Julien, is a cheese affineur (specialist in cheese aging), and I manage a chiropractic and health center—where I also practice as a chiropractor and a functional/micronutritional medicine doctor - ask us for the link for more details.
  
  The center is located on our property, so everything is right here on-site.
  We are 15 minutes away from Nay, where we go to the market every Saturday morning for fresh, seasonal, organic produce from local farmers.
  
  We have two dogs that roam freely (Balou, a 4-year-old Pyrenean Mountain Dog, and Neige, a 1-year-old Border Collie).
  Our children are either at school (Jean attends the *Calandreta* in Lys, which has just 9 pupils in the preschool class) or with a childminder (for Arthur).
  
  We are looking for an au pair to help with daily life, starting in early 2027. You would have your own independent apartment while sharing our kitchen and family life.

  Nous habitons un corps de ferme Béarnais dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Nous sommes dans les montagnes et entourés de nature et de pâturage (brebis, vache).
  Notre propriété compte une piscine, un verger et de l'espace.
  Nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants, Jean, 4 ans et Arthur, 16 mois. Je suis enceinte d'un 3ème garçon, Édouard, qui va naître en janvier 2027 (AAD). Mon compagnon, Julien, est affineur de fromage et moi, je suis gérante d'un centre de chiropraxie et de santé, en plus d'être chiropracteur et médecin fonctionnelle et micronutritionnelle dans ce dernier : .
  Le centre se situe dans une partie de notre propriété, tout est surplace.
  Nous sommes à 15 minutes de Nay, où nous allons y faire notre marché tous les samedis matins (producteurs locaux, bio, frais, de saison).
  Nous avons deux chiens en liberté (Balou, un patou de 4 ans et Neige, une border-collie de 1 an).
  Mes enfants sont soit à l'école (calandreta de Lys pour Jean : 9 élèves en maternelle), soit chez nounou, pour Arthur.
  Nous recherchons une jeune fille au pair pour m'aider dans le quotidien, dès le debut de l'année 2027. Elle aura son apparemment indépendant tout en partageant notre cuisine et notre vie commune.

  Help

  Daily assistance: errands, meals, cleaning, laundry, and looking after our 4-year-old, Jean—including activities in the garden, playtime, etc.
  
  When in season: picking fruit from the orchard, swimming in the pool, or going for bike rides while I look after the two youngest children.
  
  Having a driver's license is essential in our area.
  
  On weekends, there is the opportunity to join in our activities: the farmers' market on Saturday mornings, hiking, and outings (zoo, nearby lake, skiing and sledding in winter, etc.).
  
  We are 30 minutes from the nearest mountain passes, 45 minutes from the closest ski resorts, and an hour from Spain, so we travel frequently on weekends and during school holidays. The au pair would have free time during the week, as Jean attends school and goes to a day camp on Wednesdays. The role involves mornings, the end of the day, and sharing weekends and school holidays with us. If things go well, she might also look after him on certain Wednesdays to give Jean a change of pace.
  
  We can find a balance between my family's needs and the au pair's expectations and goals for this experience.

  Une aide quotidienne : course, repas, ménage, lessive et de la présence pour le grand de 4 ans, Jean, avec des moments d'activité dans le jardin, jeu etc...
  Quand c'est la saison, ramasser les fruits du verger, aller se baigner dans la piscine, faire un tour de vélo pendant que je m'occuperai des deux petits derniers.
  Il est nécessaire d'avoir le permis dans notre région.
  Le week-end, possibilité de se joindre à nos activités : marché de producteurs le samedi matin, randonnée, balade (zoo, lac environnant, ski et luge en hiver etc...). Nous sommes à 30 minutes des 1er cols, à 3/4h des 1ères stations de ski, à 1h de l'Espagne, donc nous bougeons le week-end et pendant les vacances scolaires. La jeune fille au pair aurait du temps en semaine car, Jean va à l'école et le mercredi au centre aéré. C'est pour le matin, les fins de journée et partager nos week-ends et les vacances scolaires avec nous. Et si tout se passe bien, elle pourra le garder certains mercredis pour changer le rythme de Jean.
  Un équilibre peut être trouvé entre les besoins de ma famille et la jeune fille au pair, par rapport à ses attentes et ses objectifs en faisant cette démarche.
  Étant dans la santé, je pourrai lui offrir mes compétences et mes connaissances en l'ajustant une fois par semaine comme pour mes enfants, mon compagnon et toute mon équipe (de l'assistante chiropratique aux 3 chiropracteurs qui travaillent avec moi, voir note site internet pour se faire une idée de nos valeurs : ).   Accommodation

  For the au pair:
  
  A self-contained 33 m² apartment on the property, with views of the mountains and the orchard. Private parking. The accommodation includes a bedroom, a bathroom with a toilet, a living area, and an office space. It is a newly built unit with a chalet-style atmosphere, featuring both air conditioning and heating.
  
  Meals and kitchen facilities are shared in our main house during times spent together. We eat a varied diet of organic, local, and seasonal foods, including fruit from our orchard when in season.

  Pour la jeune fille au pair :
  Appartement indépendant de 33 m2 dans la propriété, vue sur les montagnes et le verger. Parking privatif. Le logement comprend, une chambre, une SDB avec WC, un salon, un espace bureau. Logement neuf, type d'ambiance : chalet. Climatisation et chauffage présent.
  La cuisine et les repas sont à partager dans notre maison, lors des moments communs. On mange Bio, local, de saison et varié. Nous consommons à la saison les fruits de notre verger.
