Description
My name is Anne (Irish Anne) and I've been living on the sunny south side of Picota mountain in Monchique, for the last 36years. Enjoying it's wilderness, fruits, isolation, quietness and views! Went from van to tipi to house.
Reared 3 wonderful children and I am still here after all these years and loving it.
There are always things to do in the vegetable garden and around the farm. No day is the same, nature and the animals have a way of surprising us.
We are still helping establishing young fruit trees, replanted after being hit by forest fires in 2018 and especially this spring , also protecting them against damage from the wild pigs.
We continue alongside wonderful nature to bring life back to the mountain and having fun watching things grow.
Got some ideas for some projects, so some building skills would be very welcome.
Nowadays it's me, 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 sheep and all my wonderful neighbors!
Being a local yoga teacher, joining my classes will be fun and also sharing cooking and eating tasty vegetarian/vegan meals.Types of help and learning opportunities
