    Hello !

We look forward to welcoming a english speaking workawayer for a period of about four to five weeks for the summer 2024 from june to the end of july. We would be happy to show you Quebec city, our culture and our family life!

This will be our 3rd experience. We have hosted workawers over the last 2 years and it has been great experiences! We therefore have references if you are interested in knowing more about their time with us.

With this cultural experience we would also like to practice our English and maybe teach some French, if you are interested.

We are a french-speaking family of 4 (2 adults, 2 child - 10 and 13 years old) but we also speak english. Our daughter understands English pretty well and our son still needs to learn.

Quebec City has a lot to offer! It's in Canada, but it has an historic district with a French flair. You could learn about French Canadian culture and if you like music, you could enjoy the summer festival with various shows.

The city also has museums and various historical sites. Nature is not far away and several sites offers hiking and beautiful landscapes.

The St. Lawrence River, about 10 min from our house, also offers beautiful places to walk and relax.

The person we are looking for will take care of our 2 children (10-13 years old) about 5 hours during the day (monday to friday) and will be able to take advantage of their evenings and weekends for the discovery and activities of their choice.

We live in our house in the suburbs, on the south shore of Québec city. We are not far from the city (about 15 minutes) and there is a bus service to Quebec city. There is much to discover in the city and around. Downtown Quebec feels like Europe and you could discover the rich history of this region of Canada.

    Accommodation

The bedroom would be in our basement with access to a private bathroom.
We would make it a private floor for the workawayer at night and would use the office in the basement sometimes during the day, but the playroom would not be used to play so that you could keep your privacy.

We would offer the meals and we like various foods, with lots of fruits and vegetables.
