Description
We are a Buddhist center located near the Table Mountains National Park. The center was founded in 1995 with the intention of Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche.
This place reminded him of the Monastery where he stayed in Tibet.
On the grounds of the center there is a Gompa, a Buddhist temple with traditional paintings, and the Enlightenment Stupa, one of the few such places in Europe.
During the summer season from mid-June to mid-September there are |Courses with teachers and practices led by monks from the Monastery in India, and throughout this period there is also a special practice of burning Butter lamps for this place.
At this time, we really need support in basic organizational matters such as keeping the resort tidy and preparing meals.
We do not conduct profit-making activities. All donations received are allocated to the activities and functioning of the center.
About 3-4 hours a day.
What we can offer:
a room or a camping trailer, access to the kitchen and toilets, meals. Possibility to participate in courses and practices, explanations about Buddhism.
And for people interested in trekking and exploring the table mountains, we share knowledge about the most interesting routes (the most interesting points are about 2 hours on foot, such as Szczeliniec, Błędne skaly, Białe skaly).
And time to relax and commune with nature.
The most important dates for us are:
June 10-23 June
24-30 July
