Description
We are a family with 3 children: the 2 eldest are students in metropolitan France and the youngest is 11 years old. We live in the north of Martinique, in Morne Rouge, on land of several hectares, perched on the slopes of Mount Pelée and facing the sea. Our environment is very calm. We are in the countryside, about 1 km from the village.
Very busy all week, we are looking for help with farming our citrus groves and garden, as well as DIY and painting jobs.
Our bungalow being rented throughout the tourist season from November to the end of April, we cannot receive a workaway on these dates, unless you are traveling with your tent, of course!! :-)

Nous sommes une famille avec 3 enfants: les 2 aînés sont étudiants en métropole et la benjamine a 11 ans. Nous habitons au Nord de la Martinique, au Morne Rouge, sur un terrain de plusieurs hectares, perché sur les flanc de la montagne Pelée et face à la mer. Notre environnement est très calme. Nous sommes à la campagne, à environ 1 km du bourg.
Très pris toute la semaine, nous recherchons de l'aide pour l'exploitation agricole de notre vergers d'agrumes et du jardin, ainsi que pour des travaux de bricolage et de peinture.
Notre bungalow étant loué sur toute la saison touristique de novembre à fin avril, nous ne pouvons recevoir de workaway sur ces dates, sauf si vous voyagez avec votre tente, bien sûr !! :-)

Help
We would like to have volunteers to help us in the orchard: cleaning and maintenance of trees, cleaning and maintenance of plots, creation of an organic kitchen garden ... Also for DIY and painting in the house .... you want to help us, we offer a comfortable and independent accommodation in a beautiful environment, in exchange for 5h of help a day. Except the we !! You have to be quite independent, able to work physically outdoors and stay away from the city!
Nous aimerions avoir des volontaires pour nous aider dans le verger : nettoyage et entretien des arbres, nettoyage et entretien des parcelles, création d'un potager bio... Egalement pour des travaux de bricolage et de peinture dans la maison.... Si vous souhaitez nous aider, nous vous proposons un hébergement confortable et indépendant dans un environnement magnifique, en échange de 5h d'aide par jour. Sauf le we !! Il faut être assez autonome, capable de travailler physiquement en extérieur et de rester loin de la ville !

We put at your disposal our bungalow composed of a room with a double bed, a bathroom, a very equipped kitchen (oven, plates, refrigerator and all the necessary utensils), a sofa acting as complementary bed, and a very beautiful outdoor terrace, as well as excellent wifi access.
Nous mettons à votre disposition notre bungalow composé d'une chambre avec un lit double, une salle de bain, une cuisine très équipée (four, plaques, frigo et tous les ustensiles nécessaires), un canapé faisant office de lit complémentaire, et une très belle terrasse extérieure, ainsi qu'un excellent accès wifi.
What else ...
Our town, located about 1 km, has all the necessary shops: food, doctors, pharmacies, post office ... The city of Art & History of St. Peter is 5-10 minutes by car. Another 10 minutes and you arrive in the village of Carbet, with many restaurants and bars on the beach for a drink at sunset.
The vegetation of the north of Martinique is very dense and rich, and you will find very nice hikes to do in the area, many rivers and beautiful black sand beaches.
Notre commune, située à environ 1 km, possède tous les commerces nécessaires : alimentation, médecins, pharmacies, poste... La ville d'Art & d'Histoire de Saint Pierre est à 5-10 mn en voiture. Encore 10mn et vous arrivez dans le bourg du Carbet, avec des nombreux restaurants et bars sur la plage pour un apéro au coucher du soleil ....
La végétation du nord de la Martinique est très dense et riche, et vous trouverez de très belles randonnées à faire dans le coin, de nombreuses rivières et les très belle plages de sable noires.
